It's about time people actually realized that Madden is almost the same game every year with an updated roster and some minor tweaks

They could probably get away with it as long it you couldn't use them online. I personally don't think they'd risk it though.

With just that, a creation engine similar to BB, and a flash drive, I'm sure people could make some pretty realistic looking uni's and name and rate the players pretty easily. Just a thought.
I personally think that if you are going generic then a logo creator like BB's is the way to go. People can make copies of logos pretty damn good, and finding an image the right size with a transparent background might be difficult. Obviously a college game would need to allow roster sharing regardless.

I don't think finding and resizing a transparent image would be all that difficult. Some simple Photoshop work and a little bit of guess and check should get the job done. I think the harder part would be putting things like horns on helmets like the Rams and Vikings have.

Well it depends on the person, I'm sh- with photoshop lol.

The helmets would definitely be hard to do with images.

Look at Backbreaker. You can play with the NFL online in that.

Yeah, but you can't upload images, which was the question. Also, IIRC you can't use exact team or player names (i.e you have to use say Maryland Ravens).

All you have to do is put an extra space between the names and the game won't pick it up. So instead of Baltimore[space]Ravens, you would have Baltimore[space][space]Ravens.
