Surprised? 9 month comebacks happen all the time.

I just starting playing the games again, and wanted to restart before things got too far ahead. I went on a nostalgia trip last night, remembering the fun I had. That convinced me. Now I can say with relative certainty that this will keep going until I get the XBOX One, which will likely be around Christmas time. When I do get that, I will start a Madden CCM and post it in this forum.

Falcons Gameday Preview: Week 8, Homecoming Week

It is a big week at Bowling Green, and the events will be topped off with a football game at the Doyt.

It is homecoming week at Bowling Green, and for the first time this year, the Falcons will be busting out their all orange alternate. Fans attending the game are asked to wear orange and be loud, as Coach Freday and the Falcons hate losing at home. They hope to take out that anger against a very weak Kent State team, who lost stud RB Dri Archer to the NFL, after he gave the Falcons nightmares in last year's meeting. The Falcons earned their first win under Coach Freday on the road against the Golden Flashes last season. Herbstreit is expecting this one to get ugly pretty quickly, but Coach Freday isn't taking them lightly. He is convinced that his defense can play better.

Re: Bowling for the Green - A Bowling Green Falcons Story

Still being new on the forums, I spent some time reading this thread as well.

It's awesome seeing you do well with Bowling Green and playing in the MAC. And that US map graphic is really cool!

Good luck with the rest of your current season. I can see that you went to 5OTs with Northwestern in what I would assume to be a very exciting game. Can you share a bit from that game (or from what you remember)?

Thank you for your kind remarks, and yes, I can provide a story or two from the game. I recall my offense being on a roll throughout the first half, but only getting 14 point because of a INT in the Red Zone and a missed FG. I was still up 14-6 at the half though. In the second half, NW's offense came alive, trimming the lead to 14-9 and then taking a 17-14 lead. I quickly countered with a FG before they got two more to go up 23-17. After a drive stalled at the 5, I had to take the FG, then got a huge stop with about 1:30 left. Starting at the 25 or so, I went down the field and kicked about a 35 yard FG with less than 10 seconds left, tying the game. In OT, we shared TD's for the first two OT's, then FG's for the next two. 43-43. In the fifth OT, Northwestern got another FG, and as my QB Matt Johnson was scrambling at the 10 yard line, he slid for extra yards, but fumbled in the process. Game over.

Kent State game recap coming this afternoon, so stay tuned.

Gameday Recap: Kent State 49, Bowling Green 44
Offense can't bail out worst defensive performance of the season

Trayion Graham scores his 6th and final TD on the day, putting the Falcons in a huge hole early in the 4th quarter.

There is no sugar coating it today, the Falcons' defense sucked. After a pick 6 on the second play from scrimmage got it started, Kent State never looked back and ran all over the Falcons front line. Even after the offense batled back to take a lead at halftime, they still couldn't stop the run, as Trayion Durham set a new Kent State record with 6 rushing TD, 3 of which were 30 yards or more, 2 of which were 80 yards or more. It was a pathetic day to be a Falcon. Please note that two of Matt Johnson's INTs were in garbage time when Bowling Green was trying to fight back, so he played better than his stats show.
