Two notes. I've upped the sliders once again, hoping to make it a bit closer ]I do have the Browns next week, so it'll be an interesting test]. Also, plan is at the midway point do a full league schedule and current league leaders.

Titans Top Browns, Remain Undefeated
October 5, 2014

Johnny Football needs a team around him. The former Heisman phenom looked shaky to start, but calmed himself down an had an average game. It was his defense that struggled through the first half allowing the Titans to run away to a 33-7 lead at halftime. Manziel would calm down in the second half and so would the defense. Buster Skrine would intercept Jake Locker and take it fifty-seven yards in the other direction, cutting the lead to 33-14. Manziel and the offense would march down the field, but have a drive stall inside the Titans 40-yard line and be forced to punt. Tennessee would finally put the game away midway through the fourth quarter on a Bishop Sankey touchdown run. Sankey would enter the game in late in the first quarter when Leon Washington went down with what appeared to be a shoulder injury. He did not return. Status on Washington was not available following the game.

Leon Washington, starting running back for the 5-0 Tennessee Titans, has been announced to have a broken collarbone. What initially was believed to be a shoulder injury, Washington underwent x-rays Monday and the back will be sidelined at least a month. Rookie Bishop Sankey will take over the start role. LaMichael James is expected to take over the return game.

Defense Holds True, Titans Roll
October 12, 2014

Tennessee scored twenty-eight unanswered points in the second half to turn a 10-3 deficit into a 31-10 victory. Jacksonville's offense never really got going with only 148 yards of total offense in the game. Young Blake Bortles struggled to find a rhythm. However, it wasn't all bad for Jacksonville, and at halftime even, the Jaguars were in the lead following a Demetrius McCray interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter.

But the Titans offense would calm down and rookie Bishop Sankey would run in for two of his three touchdowns on the day in the third quarter. The second went for sixty-five yards after he found a spot of daylight and took off. Brandon Flowers would effectively seal the game with a seventy-five yard interception return for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter. Sankey would add his third score late in the game while the Titans ran clock.

Certainly would be nice to see, but unfortunately odds are not in their favor. Depends on Locker's success to be honest.
