Middle row is pretty easy too....

I maybe wrong but I was thinking end of the bottom row Winfield, Schmidt, Lou Brock cause it looks like #20 and Joe Morgan but I'm not sure

I don't think that's Winfield......looks too small.
...and I'm pretty sure that's Morgan in the middle of the middle row...next to Rose.

I think you're right about Brock though!

I hope baseball never does away with team specific all-star jerseys. I think the whole aesthetic of 9 different jerseys on a field is refreshing and very cool.

And yea, SCEA has no excuse to not have this in the game now. Good thing is, we know they'll have it in the game!

The 2 things I would like to see (not limited to these 2 though)

A. Create a Stadium- I live in Chicago but love to use teams like Oakland, T.Bay and Toronto but HATE their stadiums! And the minor league stadiums in the game are just horrible!


B.Player pictures! I understand players get traded and all but why can't they figure out a way to put the player on their new teams w/out having a generic picture? I'd rather have their REAL picture up w/ their old teams hat on than a generic picture!

I disagree...I rather have a generic pic with the right hat. Just make everyone wear the plain black hat

I plan on buying the PS4 when The Show comes out. I believe the upgrade will be worth it. But I was curious will there be rosters created for the PS4 by everyone here?

I do too....but I think we might not see drastic changes to the editor for year 1.
This would fall on the art department as well as the stadiums and I know they have their hands full with that.


Okay....middle row.....from left to right...

Not sure on #1....but most likely Gary Matthews....looks like a Braves uni and I'm pretty sure going over it in my mind....it would have to be him(eliminating all the other starters on that '79 Braves team), Joe Sambito(?),not sure(Reynolds maybe?), Ron Cey, Steve Rogers, Joe Morgan, Pete Rose, Bob Boone, John Stearns, Lee Mazzilli, Joe Niekro, no idea on the right...

Pick me up!

Guy on the end... Considering those Expos teams were actually pretty good, looks like a coach.

As for the two Mets, the first guy, was Tug McGraw still with them at that point? That's who came to mind, but more as a guess.

Third row?

Uh, Cubbie, Byrn Smith, Carlton? (mustache is throwing me off), Red, Padre, Keith Hernandez, Robin Yount in a Cubs' jersey , Jose Cruz, Jack Clark, Giants' trainer, Joaquin Andujar (wild guess).

I need to know if on-field performance will affect player ratings / progression in MLB The Show 14.

If it does, I will buy a PS4, and buy The Show 14, and play the heck out of it. If not, I will not play the game for 1 minute.

Once I found out performance doesn't affect ratings I immediately put away the game and never touched it again. Give us a reason to play our games instead of sim them.

Like being able to earn Ratings Points that you can spend on any player you want that you can only earn by actually playing in-game. This would give people a ton of incentive to actually play the games and develop their team exactly how they want to.
