Plus Puello has a ton of potential, just dropped after his little incident lol. I might do Puello and Nimmo if that's what it takes to be realistic.

Looking forward to next year when Harvey returns (I'm keeping him in A this year to keep realistic with his injury), I would have a rotation of Harvey, Price, Wheeler, Niese, Gee. I'll be moving Mejia to the pen as they are in real life. That's a pretty nice pitching staff, then it's just a matter of adding a couple bats and I'll be a true contender I think.

Just my $.02. But, the Mets need offense. Their lineup is god awful. Trading pitching for pitching, doesn't make a whole lot of sense for them. They already have plenty of pitching. They need to score some runs.

Alright guys I'm in September and did a decent job of restocking the Phillies farm by trading Cliff Lee, Papelbon, Rollins, and Dom Brown. So in true Phillies fashion I want to deplete that farm system and do an offseason trade for Giancarlo Stanton. Not sure I can pull it off though. Here's a list of my A and B prospects:

        A's:

Julio Urias (70 overall, 18 years old)
        Jesse Biddle (78, 22)
        Maikel Franco (71, 21)

        B's:

        Joc Pederson (75, 21)
        Hak-Ju Lee (74, 23)
        Vic Black (64, 25)
        Corey Seager (66, 19)
        JP Crawford (69, 19)
        Ethan Martin (68, 24)
        Jose Martinez (62, 19)

        Here's my question:

Is a deal with Maikel Franco, Julio Urias, Corey Seager, and Hak-Ju Lee enough for Stanton? Two A's and Two B's. If not what would you suggest? I'd prefer not to trade Biddle or Pederson as they're going to be important MLB guys as early as now and next season, but if you think they'd need to be included please let me know.

I personally don't think 2 A's+ 2 B's is enough for Stanton....problem is, Im not the biggest Biddle fan either.....I'd prolly go with Urias, Franco, Pederson, Seager, Crawford....so it'd be 2 A's +3 B's which isn't bad on your side

I agree, but I have a hard time trading for big name guys to keep with the realism. I don't see any big name hitters this year that could realistically be traded and that I like. Price on the other hand I am a big fan of and he has a high chance of being moved this year.

I think my roster could be fairly similar to the Giants back when they won it. Dominant pitchers in the rotation with just enough hitters to get the job done (Wright, Murphy, Davis, and one or two more guys I could trade for or sign as free agents, compared to Posey, Sanchez, and those guys).

This is a longshot but Davis and Tejada to the Angels for Aybar and a reliever like Maronde/Kohn/Roth. Davis could give Albert some off-days at 1B while DH'ing a bit as well. DiPoto would be able to shed some salary in Aybar to offset his big money guys. Tejada and Grant Green can handle the SS duties in SoCal
So here are some statistics for some possible trade bait
                    Asdrubal Carbrera- .277/.347/.338 1hr, 6rbi
                    Erick Aybar- .195/.244/.234 0hr, 3rbi
                    Cliff Pennington- .286/.348/.381 0hr, 4rbi (off bench)
Dee Gordon- .500/.500/1.000 1hr, 2rbi (LA has Guerrero starting over him, and Dee's had all of 6 at bats riding the pine)
                    Jed Lowrie- .123/.230/.231 2hr, 5rbi
                    Brad Miller?- .169/.291/.277 1hr, 6rbi
                    Adeiny Hechavarria- .194/.237/.222 0hr, 3rbi (off bench)
                    Jordy Mercer- .317/.349.483 2hr, 11rbi

Ike Davis is hitting .209/.292/256 with 0hr and 1 rbi
Ruben Tejada is hitting .200/.226/.267 with 0hr and 4rbi

Granted, its still early in the season, but sitting at 6-14 we need to right the ship by unloading some unneeded cargo. We need to get some new faces in who can produce and help the team win again

So I think I'm going to try to get Everth Cabrera like we talked about before.

Someone mentioned Villar + Hader for him. I would love to do that.

Does that seem like a decent deal? I don't want to be too unrealistic.

Cliff Lee (Mid A, High B, Low B), for Aaron Sanchez (Low A, Mid B), Sergio Santos (Mid B), and AJ Jimenez (High C)
I really like what Cliff Lee has to offer, especially since the Jays rotation is lacking a decent left-hander other than Mark Buehrle. I'm willing to part with Aaron Sanchez and I feel that Sergio Santos is expendable because of the bullpen depth that the Jays have.

Matt Moore (Mid, A, High B) for Aaron Sanchez (Low A, Mid B), Sean Nolin (Low B)/Sergio Santos (Mid B) and AJ Jimenez (High C)
Once again, another lefty starter. Same thing basically, except I'm not sure if the Rays would be more interested in Sean Nolin or Sergio Santos. Nolin could be the left-handed replacement for Moore in the future, seeing that the Rays have a decent bullpen already.

Adeiny Hechavarria (High C, High C) for Juan Francisco (High C) and AJ Jimenez (High C)
I really like Hechavarria during his time in Toronto, and since the Jays are badly in need of a second baseman, I am thinking of bringing him back. Francisco could be the lefty power bat/first baseman that the Marlins need, and AJ Jimenez is a decent catching prospect.

Neil Walker (Low B, Low B) for Sergio Santos (Mid B) and AJ Jimenez (High C)
I like what Walker could potentially bring to the team, also a good fit for the second baseman that the Jays lack. Santos could be a good arm in a relatively weak bullpen and Jimenez could be their catcher of the future.

Brian Dozier (Low B, Low C) for Kevin Pillar (Mid C), Todd Redmond (Low C) and Juan Perez (Mid C)
Another second baseman that seems like a good fit for the Jays. Twins could use Redmond in the bullpen or rotation and Perez and Pillar are all decent depth guys.

That's all I have for now. All feedback is greatly appreciated!

If you're really looking for a super, super cheap SS option, you could probably get Pedro Ciriaco away from the Royals for next to nothing. Cheap MiLB SP/RP option maybe. I doubt they'd want a 1st baseman though.
