Colby would not be a bad fit, but he is on a cold streak and doing poorly for the Jays. Rasmus is batting around .200 as an everyday player. Prado has been decent for me and was hoping to keep him.

Earlier I posted about Daniel Hudson for Alejandro De Aza , just a two player deal.Dayan Viciedo is out performing De Aza. Whitesox are nearthe worst in ERA and even Sale is not doing well for them. Do you or anyone have any views on this potential trade?

That sounds fine, if you want to make that.

        White Sox Get

        SP Daniel Hudson

        Diamond Backs Get

        LF Alejandro De Aza

Fair value and the Sox get a reliable (when not undergoing 2 TJ surgeries) arm for the rotation in return

So I am finally getting the game today and I wanted to make a trade for a better bat for the Cubs. Anyone have any power bats at the middle infielder who wouldn't cost too much?

Assuming Seattle is in contention and all players are having rather typical years, who says no to the following trade?

Jeff Samardzija + Starlin Castro + Wellington Castillo

              FOR

              Mike Zunino + Brad Miller/Nick Franklin + 2 Low B SP's

Thanks to anyone who would like to give their input.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Deadline approaching in my Cards franchise. Earlier I asked for advice on trading Adams, but I've clawed my way back up to the race for the division. He's one of my main RBI guys so trading him is not an option. Instead I'm looking to offload Jay. He's my backup center fielder, but with Taveras up in the majors and raking I'm going to give him right field and use Craig at first against lefties and to give Holliday and Taveras days off, while Taveras occasionally takes over center for Bourjos.

What I'm looking for is a shortstop (Peralta's not producing with an average under .200 and he's not too great defensively) with a good glove and a decent bat. Maybe a fifth starter too. Preferably a lefty. Jaime went down early in the year and while Lyons is doing great in the few starts I've given him, I don't want him to be a main starter when the division race is so tight.

If possible I'd like to trade Peralta as well, but with an average like that and just 13 RBIs I don't think I can get much for him. Guess I'll keep him as a backup.

                Any suggestions?

I would say no to that. If you want Samardzija and Castro, you're gonna have to start with Walker.

I don't even think Seattle, with Walker, have enough quality prospects for Samardzija + Starlin.

                        Any Boston fans here?

I am really wanting to snag Brandon Workman (SP) + Will Middlebrooks (3B) in my Padre's Franchise in the upcoming offseason. I'm semi interested in Bradley Jr. in CF - but that would require trading Maybin, and I don't think BOS wants him? Plus, I'll have to see if they make any moves IRL for outfield help.

Any chance WMB + Workman could be had for someone like Ian Kennedy, who is having an incredible year? He's averaging about 7 innings per game with 3.15 ERA - pitching mostly on the road as well. I could also throw in something else if needed. Or, I could maybe deal Tyson Ross - but I'd rather not if I can avoid it.

WMB was recently sent down to AAA after struggling to about a .220 average with limited power, but a decent OBP clip. Workman is currently in the Red Sox bullpen not seeing much work.

                        Any thoughts are appreciated!

Well when I was running my Astros franchise, I needed a shortstop to man the position while Carlos Correa improved in the minors. One of the names thrown out there was Rafael Furcal (playing 2ND base for Miami right now). He hit a very solid .300+ for me and was my 2nd leadoff hitter in the 9 hole. It really helped Altuve turn it around.

I don't know how realistic it would be, though, considering Furcal played for St. Louis before already.

I'm about 20 games in with the Red Sox and seeing big time struggles with my OF much like in real life. I'd like to get one OF bat (any position out there really), a backup catcher, and maybe a SS or 3B.

I wouldn't mind trading Middlebrooks, Drew, Holt, Ross, or Gomes. Obviously if anyone thinks a stud may be available realistically, I'd be willing to move more.

Sizemore is actually my best OF thus far hitting .320, the rest are under .220

Any suggestions on who to start looking at? We're playing about .500 ball, I know it's early but just thinking of potential moves to look into.

Thanks guys. I'm actually the Cubs in that scenario, I may have been overcautious in not wanting to rip off the CPU. I know Zunino is highly thought of by the Mariners so I thought I may need to overpay slightly. So do you think I could realistically ask for another Mid-B from Seattle?

So I am in year 2 of my franchise as the Padres. I signed Charlie Blackmon and Victor Martinez over the offseason. I am looking for a destination for Cameron Maybin, Jace Peterson, Carlos Quentin (who hit .303 with 27 HRs while missing 64 games last year) and Will Venable (who hit .299 with 29 HRS).
