Only teams clearly out of it are the Pirates, the Twins, and the White Sox. A lot of teams are hovering just around .500, a few games back from the division lead and the wild card.

You could target Alexei Ramirez, but I'd imagine they wouldn't be too interested in Jay.

I wouldn't mind trading Middlebrooks, Drew, Holt, Ross, or Gomes. Obviously if anyone thinks a stud may be available realistically, I'd be willing to move more.

Sizemore is actually my best OF thus far hitting .320, the rest are under .220

Any suggestions on who to start looking at? We're playing about .500 ball, I know it's early but just thinking of potential moves to look into.

Maybin, Hudley (if not an O), Asdrubal Cabrera? Three names I would go after.

I am really wanting to snag Brandon Workman (SP) + Will Middlebrooks (3B) in my Padre's Franchise in the upcoming offseason. I'm semi interested in Bradley Jr. in CF - but that would require trading Maybin, and I don't think BOS wants him? Plus, I'll have to see if they make any moves IRL for outfield help.

Any chance WMB + Workman could be had for someone like Ian Kennedy, who is having an incredible year? He's averaging about 7 innings per game with 3.15 ERA - pitching mostly on the road as well. I could also throw in something else if needed. Or, I could maybe deal Tyson Ross - but I'd rather not if I can avoid it.

WMB was recently sent down to AAA after struggling to about a .220 average with limited power, but a decent OBP clip. Workman is currently in the Red Sox bullpen not seeing much work.

        Any thoughts are appreciated!
Workman depending on how he is doing is probably worth a high C or a low B. Middlebrooks could be dealt for anything since he is garbage irl, in game I wouldn't give up more than a high C. JBJR is still worth a B imo, even with struggles. Maybin is a target the Sox would enjoy I think, I personally would love him here, Kennedy, not so much. Fly ball pitcher here would be just terrible. If Ross is a B, maybe just a two for three swap could happen, just depends on how Workman and JBJR are doing.

A buddy of mine is running an Astros franchise and he wants to try and get David Price from the Rays. Who should he give up? He wants to keep Springer, Singleton, Altuve, DeShields Jr. and Correa (if possible). Everyone else is fair game. Any ideas?

Without any of those guys it'll be tough, but I think a deal can get done.

              Cosart + Appel + Foltynewicz + McCullers + Velasquez

That's 4 top 100 prospects + a guy who was a top prospect before reaching the majors in Cosart. It's not spreadsheet value, but it's still a lot to give up. I'd get a second opinion on this one. Like I said, it's tough because he wants to keep all of those guys. Some of them may have to be in the deal, but above is the best I could do without them.

How about Gregorius from the Diamondbacks? Owings has their shortstop spot locked up. No way Jay's going to start over Pollock. I don't consider him a starter anyway because of his defense, but he's a decent batter off the bench. Batting near .300 for me. It's just that my outfield's getting crowded with Grichuk and Piscotty coming up as well, and if I have to offload someone it's Jay, and shortstop is a need with Peralta's lousy average. If he was a gold glover I'd put up with it, but no.

How are you guys trading 4 players in one transaction when it only lets you do 3 at a time?

Two separate trades, and in the second one, you just get back one of the other team's scrub prospects. You can always release that guy and pick him up for the other team if you're going 30-team control. (always do 30-team control)

                    So, an example:

Giancarlo Stanton for Baez + Edwards + Almora
Scrub (low D/F prospect with terrible OVR) for Alcantara + Vogelbach

Looking at returns for CarGo, narrowed down the teams to the Red Sox, Mariners, Mets and Cardinals.

Red Sox get CarGo - trade Henry Owens, Trey Ball/Matt Barnes, Rubby De La Rosa, and Mookie Betts

Mariners get CarGo - trade Nick Franklin/Brad Miller, James Paxton, and Taijuan Walker

Mets get CarGo - trade Rafael Montero, Noah Syndergaard/Zack Wheeler, and Brandon Nimmo

Cardinals get CarGo - trade Shelby Miller, Oscar Taveras, and Matt Adams.

Of course the STL deal looks the best, but is it fair? I think that's probably what Colorado would want in all these deals.

I reckon its "fair" on paper, but those teams probably don't make those deals for an injury prone outfielder.

IMO I dont see the Cards parting with Tavares except for someone like Stanton, who i don't think they will acquire.

Seattle never does the trade as they wouldn't take on his salary assuming he makes a lot of money, if he doesn't I still don't see a Seattle team that most likely isnt competing shipping away prospects like Walker for an OF. St Louis doesn't do that deal at all, no way they ship away an "A" prospect in both Taveras and Miller along with Matt Adams just to add another OF to the mix. I doubt the Mets do it unless they're making a push for the playoffs and are one big bat away from making that push, which I doubt is the case. Boston is probably the only deal that makes sense from a team prospective but then again it all comes down to their position in the playoff picture and having said that I have no idea the potential of any of those prospects you listed for them though.
