    STL Receives:
SP John Lamb (67 OVR, C)
RP Michael Mariot (70 OVR, C)

Spreadsheet asks for 2 High C for Jaime. In context, Jaime is out of my starting rotation and I am looking to dump salary to open room for another trade. KC has dealt Shields for a plethora of prospects and they can afford to lose a few high C prospect. I also asked for a RP to help mend the worst bullpen in the league. I figure Jaime is a relatively cheap SP that would already hold a solid spot in their rotation. Projecting to a 4/5 starter once their prospects are ready.
Not realistic. If KC is dumping SPs and salary, they have zero need/want/use for Jaime Garcia. You'd have to do the opposite of this and give them young players/prospects to take an older SP.

Thanks for the analysis. Do you have an idea of where Jaime could go? I need him off payroll more than I do a nice return of prospects. In my chise, Shields, Shark, and Lee have already been dealt to contenders.

He isn't good enough to be a well sought after front-of-the-rotation type of guy. But not sure he is worthwhile to create depth for a contender. Is there even a market for a guy like Jaime?

I'd think the asking price on Jamie is a little higher. He's very good when healthy. If he were healthy more he'd be expensive, but a mid B should suffice. Or two low B's or whatever.

In June right now in Year 1 and I'm looking to make some moves for my Tigers. I'm looking to get younger, but also get some others in return.

I'm looking to trade away Anibal Sanchez because he is performing great (7-2, 2.72 ERA) and could be a legit 2nd starter on a contender. The way he's performing is not worthy of being #3 in a rotation.

          Names that intrigue me are:

Chris Archer (83 OVR, B POT)

Julio Teheran (82 OVR, A POT)

Taijuan Walker (79 OVR, A POT)

I'm also looking to unload Jose Iglesias (79 OVR, B POT), but I'm not sure who to trade for. Any ideas? I'm looking for fairness, but not too unrealistic.

Looking for a value debate, am not concerned with realism. Starting a Twins franchise because I like pain of losing before the joy of winning. Gregory Poloanco will be traded from the Pirates to the Twins. This is a video game so the Pirates will not get either Buxton or Sano in return. The offer will be as follows:

Kyle Gibson/Aaron Hicks/Josmil Pinto for the Avatar.

The Pirates simply don't get to have Barry Bonds v2.0 and sit him in the minors. Especially when I have him on my fantasy roster. Besides, he and Sano grew up an hour from each other. Not best of friends but will fit together nicely when I trade for Neftali Feliz and hopefully sign Hanley as a FA next year.

There has to be a value package the Twins can put together and still let me sleep at night, right? Otherwise I trade him straight up for Kubel in the roster and blame the whole thing on Rene Gayo as its his fault they are both not on the same team to begin with.

You're giving up one of Buxton, Sano or Mauer if you're getting Polanco fairly.

Probably not because Solarte doesn't help them win now at all and Wong already is better than him.

Jaime to San Diego works. Could go for someone like Jace Peterson in return?

In my brewers franchise (after 1st month currently .5 game back from the cards) I put that I was seeking a SP and put Lohse on the trading block. The Braves sent me this trade proposal:

                  Brewers give up:
                  AAA RP - Wei-Chung Wang

                  Braves give up:
                  MLB SP - Alex Wood

Does this seem fair? I don't know much about Alex Wood. Seems like bad trade logic again and the Braves aren't getting enough value.

Yeah, Wood is a very good starter, that isn't nearly enough.

I don't think a trade for any of these guys makes sense for their respective teams. The Braves and Rays have no reason to trade away one of their better pitchers (both under 25 as well) for a 30 year old Sanchez. I also think the Mariners are the same way, but I don't know too much about their roster. They sort of make sense, but only if they are trying to make a playoff push and one of their younger pitchers are struggling/injured.

Mariners would trade for Anibal but they wouldn't trade Taijuan for him.

Sure there's a market, but winning teams will be the ones that want him if they have a hole in their rotation. I'd pick out a contender with a weak starting rotation and go from there.

Not nearly enough value going back to PIT there. Quality, not quantity.

Thanks. I was going to hold Mauer til the deadline and package him with pieces for somebody like Shelby Miller (I know but he's a headcase and shaking off Yadi, he'll be gone soon) however, your suggestion is a fantastic video game solution. Mauer has 10/5 rights and neither team could fit the contract. Poloanco is about as trade-able as Jeter. Rocks my socks and now I will be able to sleep... providing I don't have to add much else to Mauer.

While I have your attention, I'm a 2k convert and while both games have crazy trade logic, this is a different kind of crazy. How about a Shelby Miller type suggestion could I target? The above will be my only pre-season trade (to play "Bocaton" all season as he should have been) so outside of the top 5 prospects, the roster is wide open. Something built around Nolasco and Josmil?

Potential Trade, not too sure on the realism Factor though.

                                Pittsburgh Trades

Pedro Alvarez (High B, Low B)
Gregory Polanco (High A, Low A)

                                Minnesota Trades

Miguel Sano (Mid A, High B, Mid B)
                                Kyle Gibson (Low B)
Aaron Hicks (Low B High C)

You get a developed impact Bat whose pretty young at 27. He plays Third base which fills up the spot Sano would eventually occupy. You also get Polanco.

Correct me if I'm wrong with the fairness aspect.
