This is the sort of the deal I was thinking about for Cingrani. I would definitely be okay with dealing those 2 and another B.

Any August trade ideas for Cliff Lee? He's not hurt like IRL, and the Phillies are waaaay out of it.

Alright gentleman, I just pulled the trigger on another trade to boost my Angels bullpen. I received Jonny Venters (28 years old, 79 overall, B potential) and traded away my #1 prospect coming into the season Taylor Lindsey (21 years old, 63 overall, B/C potential)

The deal was pretty interesting because Lindsey was severely underperforming and his potential was declining so I decided to get rid of him while the value was still there. Thoughts?

I think that the way Ike has been playing in the franchise that he is playing, it would only make sense to let him walk. V-Mart has to be nearing the end of his career and if Davis is putting 30+ homers a year, then I would replace him quickly. However, it just depends on how well V-Mart is doing in the dynasty as well.

Hey guys need a bit of advice. In my cubs franchise I'm looking at trading mike olt for Michael Pineda from the yankees would that be a fair deal straight up or is one side being ripped off?

V-Mart is hitting .280 with 5HR and 24RBI in 118AB. Davis is obviously playing much better so I think the Tigers would be a good fit for him. Not sure what they have to offer tho

Hey guys, what would be a fair & realistic deal to get Adeiny Hechavarria on the Mets? Not sure if Miami would give him up because they don't seem to have any SS prospects in the minors, but would they be able to replace him?

If they would trade him, what could I give up to get him?

Hey guys i finally hit the first off-season in my Yankees franchise like i said a few pages back and im looking to trade C.C., Nova, Bruce Billings and either McCann or Cervelli (leaning towards McCann more since i can hit with him to save a life). I would like some feedback as to what i can possible get in return for them. I looked at the teams rotations and also some that need a catcher and these are the teams: Rays, White Sox, royals, Texas, Astros, Marlins, Phillies, Cubs, and Rockies.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Assuming that Pineda has any ligaments left in his elbows and shoulders, this is a massive kick in the face to the Yankees. Olt is basically worth cash/ptbnl at this point. Certainly not an upside starting pitcher.

Realistically, you can take the Cubs off the list. They would not be interested in any of those players. And just to squash this in advance, no, they are not giving you Baez.

Do the Royals need a catcher? I don't know about that. Sal Perez is a stud. None of the teams you listed would be interested in CC whatsoever. Maybe Texas or the White Sox would be interested in McCann. Billings isn't worth anything really.

                      I get:

                      Gio Gonzalez (6-8,4.35)
Wilson Ramos (.320,8 HR,29 RBI) (Ramos was out for a full month and a half)

                      Nationals get:

Russell Martin (.262,15HR,46RBI) ( Martin was the backup catcher in the ASG)
Josh Harrison (.228,5HR,18RBI) (Harrison does not start, plays 2B and outfield)
Austin Meadows (Mid-A potential prospect, 18 years old)

The nationals are 7 games up on the second place Braves in the NL Central, and have aquired Johnny Cueto and Jarrod Parker, need an outfielder as they traded away Jason Werth.
Doesn't make a lot of sense for 2 division leaders to make this deal. Even if the Nationals have too much pitching and need an outfielder, highly doubtful they settle on Josh Harrison as a guy worth parting with Gio Gonzalez for. The OF they are getting would need to have more star power and a longer resume to do this. Plus a catcher swap? That doesn't make any sense because the new catchers have to go learn their new staffs and so forth, and a playoff push is a weird time to do that.

Trade is fine. Only issue might be the Braves would probably use prospects at a different position than MIF due to Simmons/La Stella/Peraza, but not implausible.

I don't think there is a realistic deal for him at this point. Don't the Marlins view Hech as their SS of the future? Isn't that part of the reason they did the fire sale with Toronto last year? And then I think your bolded sentence says everything you need to know. I'm sure there are more moveable, young defensive-minded SS's floating around you can try for. The Diamondbacks have like 3 of them it seems. Didi, Ahmed, and Owings (tho only Didi and Ahmed are defense first).

why does everybody think that everyone with a Yankees franchise always want to take Baez away from the Cubs? and even if i wanted Baez i know there's no way that i can get him with those players or with the Yankees in that matter, and i also know the Cubs wont trade him away.

I'll look into Texas And White Sox for McCann and see what they got. And I added the Royals becuase of there rotation but I'll post what i come up with in a while.

                        Thank you for the help

If they do, they need new glasses. Then again, this is the team that dealt away Marisnick and Moran in a package together so...

.651 OPS and if he is "defense first"...he needs a new glove because he's listed at -6.5 UZR with -4.5 of that being range, something that's kinda important to a SS, imo. And that's an improvement (look at his 2013 numbers at your own risk - and preferably on an empty stomach).

My question would be...why would anyone want him? No bat, evidently no defense either unless UZR is really, really wrong on him for some reason. Heck, I feel like editing him down a lot now in my own Marlins franchise lol

Hechavarria is a noted exception to UZR. His positioning, likely a product of his team, is horrifying. His glove on its own is absolutely fantastic and saying Hechavarria has no glove proves that you've never really watched him play. If a team learns how to position him, that'll be a 2 win player.

Also, a .651 OPS in Marlins park = 80 wRC+. That with plus defense is a very good player.

Agreed his numbers seem very misleading. I dont know much about the advanced stats Ive just starting to get into them but going by the eye test he seems much more valuable than the numbers show.

Been watching the Marlins alot and they seem to have a very strange defensive philosophy seems like he gets to balls he has no business even coming close to. Also hes really changed his approach at the plate and using the field to his advantage and using the huge gaps in the outfield. Also seems to always be the catalyst for one of their late inning rallies.

I'd say that the numbers are more effective based on their real inputs and lack of bias, but you need both.
