Technically since he started in A ball in the game, it would be 1 full year. However, I get your point. I was/am trying to compensate for the double jeopardy of playing with Draft picks and the O's being short on Draft day.

I want a power hitting corner OF top prospect and would like to add a legit front line prospect. My other two options (both competitive) are WAS and PIT. I don't have numbers for either C but Wieters is an upgrade in WAS and can help at 1b and C in PIT.

    WAS - M. Taylor (add Cole/Giolito)

    PIT- J. Bell (add Glasnow/Taillon)

I think a switch hitting all star catcher with another year of arb elibg (plus extension though I doubt PIT could afford it) is worth that price. As of now, I am offering Wieters alone and would only look to add a very minor piece from the farm as the team is playing well.

The Cubs might give you Soler. Rangers could offer up someone. Tigers could be interested. Nats could give Cole+Taylor.

The Nats. They have the money and I think M. Taylor is/will be a M. Brantley type late bloomer.

Unless you think TEX would give me J. Gallo + L. Jackson. Even Gallo and a lesser P prospect. Holy cow, do you think they would do it straight up?! Now I'm getting excited, what do I have to add to get Gallo? Move Manny to SS go R/L with Crush, AJ, Gallo,...oh my.

Thanks for the feedback on my PIT/HOU trade.

I was looking for a yes or two about the Heredia/McGuire trade for Castro and when I got those I pulled the trigger. Hopefully Castro can bolster my lineup and help us get into the playoffs!

He went 1-3 with a BB in his debut wearing #28.

I think Bell could be had because that outfield in PIT is pretty much filled for the foreseeable future. Not sure if they'd include Glasnow or Taillon though.

No need to rub it in.

I still think LAD would do it straight up for J. Pederson. Maybe even Seager.

Definitely not. You're trading a rental catcher.

Just adding the Nats wouldn't give up Giolito in the situation either

Unless he's singing in LA this offseason, you need to look at the next tier of Dodgers prospects. Lee + another bottom T10 system guy, maybe.

Seager wouldn't be moved in that deal.

Year 1 of my franchise....All-Star week
                        Mets 1.0 GB
                        Arizona 12.0

This would be a straight..."change of scenery trade".

                        Chris Young NYM .234 4 HR 22 RBI(limited play)
                        Cody Ross ARI .244 6 HR 30 RBI(injured for 3 weeks)

Just looking to put a jolt into my fourth OF'er(going with Grandy...Eric Young and Josh Willingham(early in the year trade)

That's perfectly fine, Knight, although I don't know if I'd do that if I were you. If you absolutely know you want to, though, go for it.

EY Jr. was DFA'd by the Mets in my franchise. Hasn't played a game in the Majors this year and only has had 70 AB in AAA. Is he still worth a High C and Mid C like the spreadsheet says?

I hear you....it's probably more of a frustration trade thought at this point.
                              C. Young and Granderson probably have 200 K's at this point already!
Playing those two together in the lineup is like a black hole that eats up rallies.

No. Probably just a mid C would suffice.
