Yeah, I suppose not. The Dodgers have the guts to do that and you do too. What's their 3B/SS situation like?

Not saying ONE of these WILL happen but the only 2 guys I can see Betts getting traded for at this moment are Hamels, which I am hesitant on, and Stanton.

IRL, they have Uribe at 3rd, Seager and maybe gordon or guerrero at SS. And Seager also has the ability to play third.

Uribe at 3rd and Hanley (free agent end of year) at short. So there is a need.

Does anybody know what the deal is with the Phish nod in the special multiplier things in Challenge of the week this week? Neither Adam Jones nor James Shields have any affiliation so I was just wondering what the deal was? All four specials are Phish Songs.

I am playing as the Braves, with this years team current roster. I'm about to pull off a trade with the Dodgers. I have proposed to the Dodgers OF Schafer & C Gattis for OF Either. I just cant get going with Gattis. He missed 20 games with an injury and only has 4HR 13RBI thru 75 team games. I will go ahead and begin the C Bethancourt era behind the dish. It also will give me stability in the OF with Either. I was platooning BJ and Jordan. Jordan did have 18SB, but runs created was still low... Either will be the everyday LF, Heyward to CF and J-UP back to RF.. 34-41 on the season, so we'll see

OK so I was looking at Bleacher Report article and one commenter said that the Cardinals should try and get Freeman and BJ Upton from the Braves he came up with this trade:
Jay, Adams, Piscotty, and Descalso for Freeman, Upton (half of his contact with the Braves eating other half of his contract), and Bethancourt (catching prospect.)

All I could do is laugh at this. Just figured we need a laugh every now and then and this something that could do this. I doubt that Jay, Adams, Piscotty and Descalso even get Upton and Bethancourt. Yes I know that Freeman would still be there, but thinking that maybe Adams could actually get in shape and play LF maybe and then move Heyward to CF and Justin back to RF. And have Jay off the bench and then flip Piscotty and Descalso for someone else.

BJ is a negative asset and Bethancourt is probably a mediocre one. Descalso is negligible. Adams is very good. Piscotty is very good. Really not even close for me.

I see no way the Cards go for BJ, the outfield is already crowded and plenty of young players in the farm system. Adams is becoming a good 1st basemen with plenty of potential. I would hope after the playoffs and great season Jay had he would start in CF next year as well.

The only realistic moves I would see the Cards making is a right handed batter of the bench, backup utility infield to take Descalso's spot and some relief help.
