Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Is there an option to do quick counts only when you're on offense? I'm a horrible first pitch swinger so quick counts would make things more realistic for me (no more opposing starters always making it into the 8th), but would like to control how my pitchers do in the game.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Really? So any inaccuracy being brought up about the game is now considered entitlement and complaining? Please. The game prides itself on authenticity, so when things are wrong people are going to point them out. You don't know if the devs are following the style guide or if it was an honest mistake, so if you can potentially help them out, you do. Especially when the team at SCEA is as responsive as they are.NOPE! Not less than two days after the news broke that the Blue Jays blue was fixed, someone complained that the away uniform did not have a middle-white stripe on the side of the pants, but it was gray instead.
It's the Internet/Cell phone era (i.e., you owe me; I am entitled to it), a new complaint about something is fully inevitable!

No one is entitled to anything here. Things like that are being pointed out so that if they fix it, then great; if they can't then we can live with the inaccuracies and life goes on. I would think that all of the "complaining" about the Jays blue led to it getting fixed which resulted in countless members of the community saying how much better it looks now and praising SCEA for fixing it. By pointing inaccuracies out we're helping the devs make The Show that much better for future iterations.Comment

No ... Quick Counts are all or nothing. They are either on for the entire game for both sides, or they are off. There is no mixing and matching. Perhaps you can lobby to have this feature changed in future releases. But I highly doubt we will see any changes this year.Is there an option to do quick counts only when you're on offense? Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Michael Wacha's face is beyond terrible in PS4 version. It's like a randomly generated minor league player face. Yikes. That's one we should be able to edit for sure because it's definitely not his likeness.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
It won't be editable at all in terms of his face. He's locked. If you want you'll have to find an editable player with service time close to his and re-create him if you or someone you know is good with faces. Then you can just import the new one over the SCEA model.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 05-04-2014, 02:16 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I saw a screenshot of the Braves new spring training jerseys int the game and their numbers on the back are red. Problem is their bp jerseys have navy blue numbers on the back. Can anyone confirm the red numbers on the back?Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Another dissapointment for me. Thought with all the extra power stuff like this would be fixed.
Anyway no its not fixed its still screwed up. Not only are you stuck playing the same division but your rivalry game changes.
Using miami, my year 2 rivalry was against the blue jays
I know its almost blasphemy to use the word port, but the more I spend with the game the more you see exactly what was copy and pasted.Comment

Wow, seriously? Port? What more did you want them to change in one cycle of development?Another dissapointment for me. Thought with all the extra power stuff like this would be fixed.

The nitpicking being said about this incredible looking/playing game is sad but laughable to say the least. This is by far the best sports game on any platform period but it's not enough for some people I suppose, I for one couldn't be more jacked for Tuesday after seeing hours of excellent streaming and comments.Comment

That's a bummer, but not a game/deal breaker for me I can live with it. Hopefully in future versions they can change it up during inter league play. Thanks for checking on that sir I appreciate it.Another dissapointment for me. Thought with all the extra power stuff like this would be fixed.

Port? What more did you want them to change in one cycle of development?
