not sure if this has been addressed or not but has anyone experienced a problem with settings that are correctly on/off in the franchise menu being the opposite once you enter a game? for example: I use auto fielding and base running, when I view the settings in the main franchise setting they are on, when I enter the games they are off. I am in game 120+ and it has recently started to happen. Thanks in advance for any advice.

just discovered the problem and will share just incase it happens to anyone else... I had player-lock on one of my minor league players and never turned it off and when I realized that and turned it off it went back to working.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Saw someone else ask this but never saw an answer. In the PS3 version, the only career stats you can view are the very few on the player card (AB, HR, RBI, Avg). Does the PS4 version have more career stats to view?Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Donaldson at the plate smacks a double down the 3rd base line, and Cespedes scoring from 2nd. This was on default setting and only the pitch speed bumped to 100%.
Serious Question: What is the point of Spring Training games in franchise mode? Do you guys/gals play Spring Training games or simply jump to the start of the Season? I'm in my last week of Spring Training, but skipping month using the R1 button to April/May/June shows nothing on the schedule.Comment

I will always play a few spring training games. Usually around 5. For me, it's just to get a look at some of the young guys that may or may not have a shot at making my opening day roster.
There should be an "End Spring Training" option on the main menu. As soon as you end spring training, your regular season schedule will show up.
Good luck!

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I don't know if this has been answered already, if so I apologize. In my RTTS I am a starter and I play a bunch of games and get a game off every week or so.. I have a high batting avg etc but can never qualify because my ab/team game ratio is not 3.1 because of that game off they always give you even when you're an everyday player.
So my question is: Can you ever get enough AB's to qualify for the batting title? Because even as an everyday player you get those days off, and it seems like I'll never get to 3.1 ab/team game played.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I have a quick question:
I did a fantasy draft through about 60 rounds then simmed the rest. However, when I started the season my rosters were all screwed up and many of the guys I wanted on the MLB roster weren't even put on the 40-man by the CPU, so I had to send other vets through waivers to add the other guys to the 40 man.
My question is this: How do I get to adjust my rosters and 40 man manually so that doesnt happen? Do I have to manually draft the entire 90 rounds?
I've seen this answered on OS before, but for the life of me I can't find the answer no matter how many key words I search for.
Thanks in advance if you answer this!"Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment
