Yepp it does happen in real life. One reason umps should just go away. We dont even need them.Comment

I love they idea of variable umpires but do hope they refine it a bit.
IF not though, no big deal to me.

Fine leave the umps. No reason they should be calling balls and strikes though when a computer can do it perfectly.Comment

I don't ever want that element in the game. Challenges is just about as far as I want to take it and that is pushing it.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

You know, speaking of this... there IS an option where you can have the computer perfectly call balls/strikes/outs if you want.Comment

Any talk of the enhanced pitch break visuals?
Is it easier to hit breaking pitches now?
2nd question:
If a throw from the outfield to home is offline will the catcher do the "off balanced three-step stumble" still?Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
It's the only way I've played the game for a while now and I love it. (when I play Zone, at least - timing and analog have a way of minimizing foul balls because of the automatic PCI placement). If you're good enough to always get the PCI over the ball you might end up having too many balls put in play, but if you're sometimes inaccurate with it like me you will see more swings and misses.Comment
