I like cleaner look and minimum UI, but I also like broadcast pitching cameras and there are some with really bad angles where I have to see the strike zone before throwing pitches. I feel, that using broadcast pitching cameras give you some home field advantage by knowing the angle more than away ballparks.

For batting I always use the same view, so I don't need to see the strike zone.

    Thanks for the answer!

To add to this, you can now preview hot/cold zones with the strike zone set to off. Not quite what your asking, but that is an addition for MLB 15.

In regards to this, did anyone ask, or did the developers happen to mention if the shadows will affect the ball? I'm guessing if it was talked about you would have said so in the last reply but just in case I thought I'd ask. Personally, I'm really hoping for this.

That's great news because I like to play with the strike zone set to off. Do you have to push a button for it to come up or do you have to pause the game in order to see it?

You do this in your settings, set the zone to off and hot and cold zones to preview. It will show up for the first pitch of each at bat then go away.

As far as going dark in the shade and light in the sun? If so I did not specifically ask but I would think it would.

It may be a little early to ask these questions but:

              1. Was the "low" camera option available this year? I think we lost it last year with the addition of "Dynamic."

              2. While batting, is there a way to get a quick menu option to see defensive ratings quickly (arm strength, fielding, speed). I think we lost that menu last year, as well.

Thanks for spending the time to read through and answer, guys. Appreciate it.

Ah yeah I can scatch so many things of my list this year!

While we're at it last year when you had the pitch selection osd set to off you couldn't check the pitcher's stamina/confidence is the start/select screen. Is this fixed?

                Thanks!

You will be able to check pitcher stamina (for both pitchers) by d-pad left quick menu. I don't exactly remember if that also shows pitcher's overall confidence along with it... sorry. Perhaps Nem/SLAB remembers.

Animation wise was there any variation between players of different size, speed or skill?

Did I hear some where that there are more body types being displayed? Ex. Ortiz was the only body type last year that represented heavy.

                        Just stamina not confidence.

So where do we find confidence?

You can always find stamina and confidence under the pitch types on screen like always. If you are playing clean screen like you saw in the stream just hit R2 to bring up that info. The stamina only that was referenced before was just for that quick drop down that nomo mentioned. It was a new addition for that quick info drop down and it shows both pitchers info side by side.

Nomo, I know you didn't get to do your extensive testing, but what did you notice out of the box that you are going to change on sliders right away? Also, how did stealing work for you? I mean so far as success rate and also how often they had the Paul Konerko's of the world attempting a steal...

During gameplay did Sony fix the issue where it sounds like the the visiting teams batters have walk up music?
