Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone know that I am starting a new fantasy drafted franchise and also a new rtts player tommorow. Both will be covered by (at least) weekly updates in television broadcast fashion (I'll be making them as realistic as possible). I will be playing the Boston Red Sox on the franchise and going the draft route for my player. The first episode, showcasing the roster and the beginning of spring training will be up by tomorrow (tuesday) night. Would love if you guys would take the time to check it out! My channel is on youtube and is called 24/7SportsGamingAddict . As a side note this will one part of a three part franchise and player series (all running simultaneously), showcasing Boston sports teams. Other games and teams will include Madden 15 (Patriots) and NBA2K15 (Celtics). The first episode of each series will be online by wensday evening at the very latest. Thanks again!
Check out my YouTube+Twitch channels for Franchise play+tutorials for NBA2K Madden , MLB The Show and Fifa, both under /alltimesportsgamer . Also stop by my Dynasty Nation page for TONS of franchise play content, http://www.dynastynation.operationsp...ayer&sport=nba

Just a questions what's the general consensus with people who don't play every game? I was thinking play one Sim 3 but that's feeling like I don't have enough control over my teams record. What does every one else do?

I play 1 sim 5. I like the team to do well on their own.

This is going much better than last year. Offense is actually doing what it is paid to do. Pitching isnt crumbling out of no where. Off to Detroit for game 3. Danny Duffy vs David Price.

Thanks for the reply. It's rough though I played my first five and went 4-1 since then with my new system I've gone 1-1 in the games I've played and the team has gone 1-9 I believe. Playing with the Astros. Any way again thanks for the reply I think I'll stick to my one and three.
Oh and BTW good win in the playoffs.

My Twins are 5-1 six games into May. This puts the club at 15-13 through the first 28 games. Ironically, the real version of the 2015 Twins were also 15-13 through May 6. Below is a recap of the box scores thus far.

Well that could have went better. Did not expect Dyson to lead off with a HR. And expected De Aza to do the same even less. Duffy struggled with command all game and it cost him. Rookie Kyle Zimmer will Anibal Sanchez who is starting on short rest after only going 2/3 of an inning in game 1. Hopefully we can have the same success as last time.

                              My Braves franchise update:

3-6 through 3 series. My record not bad, 4 GB of division leading Nats. My early surprise is my team batting Avg .302. What? But I am struggling with starting staff. My overall team ERA is 4.67. That is unlike me. Giving up a lot souvenirs. LOL

Teheran 8.18 ERA, 4 HR allowed. Miller 7.36 ERA, 15 H in 11 IP. Minor is my best pitcher through his first 2 starts. 1-0, CG, SHO, 2.40 ERA in 15 IP. Alex Wood 0-0, 14 IP, 2.57 ERA. Folty only 1 start. 10 H, 4.0 IP. OUCH! I am aiming to get back on track to my standard. Quality starts and giving the team opportunity to win....

Freeman is leading the team with 2 HR, 10 RBI, BA .378. Heyward's raking in the 3rd spot BA .417, HR, 5 RBI 4 SB & 6 R. EY JR. is my leadoff hitter. Batting .351, 8 SB & 6 R.

I am in 2015 of my OSFM rostered Cubs franchise. Season got off to a shaky start but the team got as hot as they could in June and July. Near the end of August now and I believe we are 83-44. Best record in baseball. 13.5 game lead over St. Louis. I play one game every series with A&S Hybrid all star sliders.

                                Players of note..

Anthony Rizzo is in MVP lead. Has 109 RBI and next highest is Stanton with 87.

Kris Bryant hitting just .244 but leads ROY voting with 22 HR and 60 RBI.

Jon Lester in tight race with MadBum for Cy Young. He is 14-4 with a 2.38 ERA.

Addison Russell is just behind Bryant in ROY voting. He is hitting .279 with 13 HR and 13 SB.

Soler struggled bad. Was hitting .222 so I sent him down. Only hitting .204 at AAA after 26 games. Uh oh.

Acquired LHRP Eric O'Flaherty at deadline from Oakland for Travis Wood. He has been stellar. 1.22 ERA as my specialist.
