I believe if a runner gets on with a hit or a walk then that would be an earned run. If those runners, that scored, reached base due to an error then it should be unearned.

Yeah i made the NL adopt the DH. Sue me.

This is gonna be a terrible team. We rank 30th overall. 22nd in contact, 29th in power, 28th in defense, 30th in pitching and 6th in speed. And there is not a whole lot in the minors. We have 7 guys in the minors that are 25 or younger with B potential. Only 2 or 3 are somewhat close to making an impact. Best prospect is 23 year old Luis Diaz. He is 66 OVR with 87 potential. Most intriguing guy is Drew Marshall. Team drafted him in 2015. Catcher and 1st baseman. 85 potential at 58 OVR. Kid has power and a lot of it at 19. Needs to work on his contact quite a bit but he could hit 30-40 HR a year. Like my Royals franchise i brought in a created guy Jackson Yates that i drafted in MLB 14. 19 B potential. Wont play in majors till 2018 though.

Edit - I just played my first game. This is going to be so bad.

I know you simulated ahead one year, but did you purposely draft a bad team? I don't see a single player on that roster that would go before round 4 in a regular fantasy draft.

I let the CPU draft. Nats traded Chris Sale during the sim and i traded Jose Abreu and Byron Buxton during the off season to make it a bit harder.

I just made the playoffs last night with the Pirates. I won the division on the final game of the season. It would have been great if the announcers had mentioned the division title was on the line before the game or at any point during the game. I guess I'll have to settle for the after game mention.

I just picked up a 2 game sweep of the Rays to push my record to 22-17 I believe it is now. What's special is in game 1 I recorded my first ever no hitter with Shelby Miller. It may have not been the most beautiful as he ad 8 walks and gave up a run, but I threw a no hitter and it was awesome. I've never done that before in any baseball game.

It was nice to have him turn his year around for me and be more like the real Miller. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

That's some sort of no-hitter alright. Congrats. 8 walks? Yikes haha.

Do you think Swihart, Napoli and Victorino for Stanton is a good trade?

Starting second year, won the World Series in the first behind MVP Ortiz. Replaced him with Encarnacion when he retired. Cueto and Hamels lead my rotation.

Swihart is 24 years old, 74 rated with A potential, but Vazquez is 70 rated and did a good job last year. Nap and Victorino are old so some youth in the team is good. Lineup:

                          Betts CF
                          Pedroia 2B
                          Stanton RF
                          Ramirez LF
                          Encarnacion 1B
                          Sandoval 3B
                          Castillo DH
                          Bogaerts SS
                          Vazquez C

Just had the craziest game of my life.I'd like to point out most my games are fairly low scoring games. I play on HOF.

8 game win streak trailing the red sox by 1 game. I'm the blue jays.
3 game series against Boston and I won game 1. Game 2 goes like this:

Boston jumps out to a 3 run lead in the top of 1. Ventura (who I traded for) Is not looking good.

Bottom of 3 I hit a 3 run homerun with my created player to tie it up.

Top of 4 Boston scores 3 more runs 6 -3 ventura doesn't make it thru the inning.

Bottom of 6 I bat thru the order scoring 6 to go up 9-6

                            Bottom of 7 I get 2 more 11-6.

Top of 8 Boston scores 4 to make it 11-10

Top of 9 2 outs no one on with no balls 2 strikes count. Pablo takes one just off the turf and squeaks it thru the infield. Boston gets 2 more straight hits to drive in the tying run.

Boston scores 2 in the top of 11 and I couldnt answer ending my win streak at 8.

I've never had more fun in a video game ever in my life than that game.

I like to use the spreadsheet below to evaluate trades. Though some may consider Stanton to be the cornerstone of the Marlins Franchise, I would say he's tradeable because it's the Marlins.

I was playing with Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs against the Giants. I was down 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th in game #2. On a 3-2 pitch with 2 outs I hit a game tying home run with Starling Marte. I eventually won the game in the bottom of the 11th.
