Can Anibal Sanchez pitch every game? May not have gotten all the runs off him like last time. But him getting hurt helped us get the win. Christian Colon has been phenomenal. Was planning to look for a 2nd baseman in the off season but with the way he is playing that might not be necessary. Zimmer walked a few more than i would have liked. But was akle to get some double plays when we needed them most and was able to give us 6 strong innings. He may start game 3 of the ALCS instead of Duffy.

Rematch of the 2014 ALCS. Lets hope it goes as well as it did last time.

I'm in the 2017 playoffs with the Minnesota Twins. I traded away pretty much every older guy on the team with any trade value, picking up many good prospects. I had high draft picks in 2015, 2016 and 2017 so my drafts have been talent laden, as well, with some guys already contributing the team. Without further ado heres the team.

      * Players marked with a "*" are fictional players through the game's draft system.

I drafted Jamie Pena and Eric McKenzie. Joe Bowie was acquired in a trade with Pirates where I also got Tyler Glasnow. Dozier and two of my better older pitchers where used in that trade I believe. I got Machado by giving up Sano and a couple other pieces. I couldn't pass up the opportunity for him since he was on the block. Taijuan Walker was my most recent trade. Mauer was the main piece in the deal but featured a couple prospects, obviously, as well. I don't remember how I've acquired all these players though. I wish I had written it down.
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox
      NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks
NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues
NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors

Kazmir had a 3-5 record with a 4.52 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP before the trade. I'm tied with the O's for the AL East lead as we share identical 37-21 records. Kazmir will pitch in my next game against the Nats. That series is followed up by a huge series against the O's where I hope I can take at least two of three. I'll need those wins as I'll have a key stretch of 19 games in 20 days against solid opponents such as the Tigers, Angels, and Astros who are doing really well in my franchise. They're up 5 games in the AL West with a 35-25 record.

My offense has struggled as of late, but I'm getting key wins when necessary to avoid losing too many games in the standings. Overall, I'm liking that I upped the difficulty as it provides for more immersion, difficulty, and overall fun when it comes to playing the games. With a little more than a third of the season already in the books, I'm hoping that I can right the ship in time before the all-star break.

Hey guys, here's Episode 3 of my Jays Franchise. It's a recap of the second series against the Orioles, as we look for back to back road sweeps to start the season. Enjoy!

I decided to take on the Phillies project and am rolling with a system where I play one starter's games and sim the rest. I'm using Hamels for kicks as my starter.

A month in and we're 13-10. I've gotten some terrific performances out of Hamels, but the offense, which is hitting just under .220, is so bad that I haven't gotten a win yet in 5 starts.

The team ERA is a very good 2.70, but with the bats lying dormant, it's been tough to win.

Right now the worst offenders are Galvis (.099 BA), Brown (.174 BA), and Herrera (.203 BA). I like all of them and have nobody better behind them, so they'll continue to play, but that's a pretty painful month, especially for Galvis to be under .100!

Hopefully I'll start hitting a bit in the next month.

That is a better start than the Phils in my Nationals Franchise, currently 11 games in with a 7-4 record while your phillies sit at 1-10 haha

Yeah, and somehow the Braves are like 19-5 right now, while the Marlins, with a much better roster, are almost the exact opposite.

I want to stick to my pro-Galvis stance, but in 25 games he's still hitting below .100. If he's not up to .225 by the draft, he's going to become a defensive replacement in late inning, close games.

Yeah, I won my last hame on 2 run walkoff homer with 2 outs thanks to Ryan Zimmerman, but the bullpen is still shaky and Werth is struggling

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

We have started out the 2nd half of the season on a good note winning 4 of our first 6. We continue to lead the Wild Card and trail the Brewers by 2 games now.

With 7 days left until deadline, I continue to debate on what changes, if any, need to be made. I'm not big on betting the farm on a rental player, so I am really cautious on making deals. I have entertained the idea of getting Nolan Arenado from the Rockies to play 3B, while Carpenter goes to 2B and Wong goes to Memphis to get better at hitting. But the Rockies are asking more than I'm willing to part with at this point. Outside of that, I think the call ups of Pham and Piscotty, along with the trade for Buehrle earlier in the season, will fulfill any holes that I may have as we push for the playoffs.

Still though, adding Arenado at 3B would be a huge get, but again, I just can't pull the trigger.

Power went out and deleted my franchise!!!! So, I have to start anew...

3 games in and the Mets sit at 2-1 after the opening series in our Nations Capital.

Harvey pitched well enough for a quality start in the opener, but the offense didnt come alive until the 9th...sadly, too little too late in a 3-2 loss.

de Grom showed why he was NL Rookie Of The Year in game 2 going the distance in a 6-1 victory. Granderson and Cuddyer went back to back in the 4th to bust open the game, and the Mets never looked back.

Wheeler looked solid for the first 5 2/3 innings. 2 2 out errors however allowed the Nats to tie it at 4 in the 6th. Grandy was at it again belting not 1 but 2 home runs. And in his first AB as a Met, John Mayberry belted a solo shot. Parnell allowed a run in the 9th, but settled back in to close it out for a 6-5 win.
                          Let's Go Mets!!!

Just took 2 out of 3 against the Braves. We are now 2 1/2 out from the Brewers and we are 4 games up in the wildcard.

Lance Lynn pitched a gem in the finale as he went 8 1/3 without allowing a hit. Eric Young doubled down the left field line breaking it up. I was sick at my stomach...lol.

But Choate came in and struck out Markakis and then got Freeman to fly out to end the game.

Next up is 3 at home vs the struggling Reds. We have 4 days left before the deadline, so the wheels are still turning.

Not 100% sure if this is the right thread for this question so sorry if it isn't. This is my first time starting a franchise on the Show since The Show 10 on the PSP. I was wondering what is the best way to go about developing young talent on this game. This franchise is SOOOOO much different than PSP with all the new features and what not. Also, is there a way for me to edit another teams offer? Like if the phillies offer me a trade in mid june and I open to see it I can only accept it or back out. Thanks for any help

I want to say if you click accept when they offer that it takes you to the trade screen where you can change things before actually accepting or offering. Not 100% positive though so make a save before trying it.
