Thanks guys. Going to restart a franchise, figure out the best approach, "how many games a week I can get in, if I'll play every game of the series etc", and give it a go.

I alternate between hitting only and pitching only so I play every game. Just be sure to adjust SP stamina slider to 0 for the simulated pitcher to get realistic stats.

I just had to see if he would pan out like his draft grades said he would.

If I would have thought about it, I would have done it for my spunky Thomas Pringle from MLB13 when I got MLB14.

Using the angels hovering around the .500 mark in june. Played at Arizona and hit 12 doubles. Anyone hit this many before in a game it was really odd. 16 hits and 12 of them were doubles

Well, we were swept by the Pirates and now our season is officially over. We have 3 games left in Atlanta to close the season where I will take a look at young prospects to see how they fare and help make decisions in the offseason.

Extremely hard to take, after playing 159 regular season games, being in the playoff hunt all year, only to fall apart in the last 2 weeks of September and see your season come to an end.

Oh well, time to figure things out so we don't experience this feeling next year.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

                Year 2, Yankees.

Right around the All-Star break. I'm facing the Red Sox, last in the AL East. They have one of the best batting averages, but one of the worst Pitching ERA's. Their best pitcher, Cueto slices me up for a No-Hitter. I couldn't get anything going. My dynamic difficulty went from about HOF++++ (hitting) to Veteran+.

Although it was frustrating I thought it was really cool.

                  <table><td bgcolor=#000F30>End of April - 2016</td></table>

Things could have went a lot better the first month. We started off strong going 8-2. Then we went 2-2. And finished the year off going 2-8. Sitting at 12-12 tied with Cincinnati for 3rd place. 4 games behind St Louis and Pittsburgh.

Pitching has not been good. Mike Fiers is our best starter so far with a 3.52 ERA. Josh Johnson is at 3.69. Garza 4.15. And Jimmy Nelson 4.71. Wily Peralta tore his hammy in his 6th start. Might have been a good thing though. 8.51 ERA when it happened. We brought up Wei Chung Wang to replace him. Gonna let him get a start and see how he does. If its not good then Hiram Burgos will take over.

Offense started out really good. Averaged 5.7 runs the first 10 games. Only 2.4 the last 10. Adam Lind is our best hitter so far. .302 AVG, 5 HR with 11 RBI. Carlos Gomez is only hitting .198, Lucroy .327, Braun .253, Segura .238. Khris Davis is hitting .257 was around .270 a few games ago so he is hitting the ball alright. But he isnt doing anything when he does. 2 HR and 5 RBI. He hasnt had an RBI sine the 9th, 19 games ago. Scooter Gennett is doing pretty well. .302 with a HR in his 16 games. He went 4-4 in his first game back from the suspension. Gerardo Para is hitting .327 in 49 at bats. Has had a few starts here and there. Elian Herrera is doing really well off the bench as well. .400 in 45 at bats with 8 RBI.

In AAA, We sent Logan Schafer down when Scooter came back. He is hitting .381 through 14 games. Catcher Hector Sanchez is hitting .383 through 14 games as well. Wei Chung Wang had 2.16 ERA in 33.1 IP before we called him up. Rob Wooten didnt give up a run in 7 innings out of the pen. Gonna call him up and send Manny Parra down.

In AA, Our 1st round pick from last year us hitting .300 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. He has a .395 OBP. He is hitting .429 off of left handers. Victor Roache has 6 HR 24 RBI but only hitting .208. Jackson Yates (created guy from MLB 14) is only hitting .213. Johnny Crum our 2nd round pick last year is 2-1 with a 2.30 ERA. 33 K's to 8 walks.

                    The Seattle Mariners 2015 Season
                    12-10 as of May 1st, 2015

The season started off strong when Felix Hernandez had a perfect game through 7 innings against the Angels on Opening Day. Then Austin Jackson happened as he let an easy pop fly fall behind him after it got lost in the sun. 2 hits, 3 errors and 5 runs later, Hernandez finished the inning now with a 5-3 deficit. It was a truly horrendous end to a beautiful day at SAFECO.

Since then the Mariners have been a fairly average team going 12-10 in the month of April. Robinson Cano leads the team in batting average at .333 and Felix Hernandez leads all starting pitchers with a 2.78 ERA and a 3-2 record.

Pitcher, Hisashi Iwakuma, was placed on the DL after he injured his finger on a line drive back up the middle. 26-year old pitcher, Roenis Elias was called up from Triple-A to replace Iwakuma on the active roster.

The hot bat of Chris Taylor was also placed on the DL after he pulled his calf rounding third base. 32-year old LF (2B/SS) Rickie Weeks was called back up to the big club to platoon with backup shortstop, Brad Miller.

After a slow April, May has been a good month. Ive hit my stride with this squad...and once I find a way to plug a bat imto the lineup, I think I can run down the O's

Completed my 1st season with the Chicago Whitesox and went 85-77 and made it in as a wildcard. I will be facing the Astros. I usually play 1 or 2 games each series and sim the rest. Jose Abreu won the MVP .280-53hr--136 rbis. And my call up P- Carlos Rodon won ROY. 8-16 4.15 224 Ks.

Let me just say. The d'backs are impossible to sim franchise with. Goldy is the only hope and he gets injuries every season. Ended up trading him in the third year to the Braves for Shelby Miller and Freddy Freeman (both tearing it up). My only all star selection seasons 1-2 was Jared Saltalamacia. Are you kidding?

That was rough. 14-15 during the month to bring us to 26-27 on the year. Could have been a lot worse but we were able to win our last 5 to keep us close to a WC spot. We are 6 games back of St Louis in the division and 3 games back of the Dodgers for the 2nd WC spot.

This pitching is annoying. Our 4.16 ERA is worst in the majors. Starters arent all that bad. Fiers with a 3.19 ERA. Nelson with a 3.34 and Josh Johnson iwth a 3.77. Garza is not doing well at all. 5.53 ERA and had back to back games where he gave up 11 runs in 3 innings and then 8 runs in 2 2/3. The Wei Chung Wang experiment didnt last long. in his first start he gave up 9 runs in 1 2/3 innings. We then put him in the BP as a long reliever and gave Hiram Burgos a couple starts. He wasnt all that much bad. Gave up 3 in 6 1/3 his first start then gave up 6 in 4 2/3. Gave him one more chance and it was a complete mistake. 7 ER in 1 1/3 IP. Went ahead and moved him back to long reliever. Sent down Wang and signed Marco Estrada. He has one start and it was exactly what we needed. 8 IP 2 runs 1 earned. 8 's and 1 BB.

Bullpen is about the same. Broxton got hurt on the 5th so we called up Rob Wooten. When we sent Wang down we called up Wil Smith. Best reliever right now is K-Rod with a 1.10 ERA and 17 saves. Or Neal Cotts with a 1.19 ERA in 30 1/3 IP. Wil Smith in 2 appearances has lasted just 2/3 of an inning and has a 40.50 ERA. Jeremy Jeffress has an 8.49 ERA after having a fantastic 2015. Rob Wooten has a 7.45 ERA in 9 2/3 IP.

Offense got a lot better thankfully. Worst hitter by AVG is Luis Sardinas at .251. Ryan Braun is our best hitter. .304 AVG with 11 HR and 29 RBI. Khris Davis has come on strong during the 5 game winning streak. .466 AVG with 3 HR. He is now hitting .267 with 6 HR and 14 RBI. And he has yet to commit an error in left field.

In AAA, Logan Schafer continues to hit the ball well. .354 AVG with 4 HR and 23 RBI in 144 at bats. Probably gonna callo him back up and send Jason Rodgers down. Michael Kirkman has a 0.57 ERA in 31 1/3 IP. Gonna call him up as well most likely. Send Smith or Wooten back down.

In AA, Austin Beyer (1st round pick 2015) is hitting .308 with 7 HR and 21 RBI. Sent him to AAA for a but but he didnt do so well. Only hit 1.43 in 35 at bats. Did hit .400 of of leftys though. Tom Beckham (6th round pick 2015) is hitting .275 with a HR and 15 RBI with a .336 OBP. Really hoping he can get his potential raised up to a C. Jackson Yates (created player from MLB 14) finally has gotten his **** together. .286 AVG with a .368 OBP 3 HR and 10 SB. Johnny Crum (2nd round pick 2015) is 2-1 with a 2.32 ERA in 42 2/3 IP. Sent him up to AAA as well for a bit. Wasnt all that bad. 3.80 EAR in 23 2/3 IP.

Pretty good draft again this year (I picked 2 and let the CPU pick the rest)
                                1. Doug Imro, 19 year old LHP. 66 OVR with 95 potential. MLB ETA of 2019. But with how this pitching has been he could be up a lot sooner.
                                2. Jackie Anthony, 20 year old RHP. 64 OVR with 90 potential. MLB ETA of 2019 for him as well. And that seems like a good estimation for him. Not as close to being ready as Imro is.
                                3. Andy Cooley, 23 year old 2B. 56 OVR 88 POT. MLB ETA of 2022. Good fielder with speed. The bat could hold him back though. Not sure if he will ever reach that potnetial.
                                4. Derrick Davis, 19 year old LF. 45 OVR 78 POT. Alright hitter. Nothing special though. Cant field or run at all. Doubt he ever does anything.
                                5. Cesar Feliciano, 19 year old LF. 54 OVR 90 POT. Much better hitter than Davis. Not that good of a fielder or runner though. An AL team would have been a much better fit for him.
                                6. Carlos Reyes, 21 year old RHP. 55 OVR 80 POT. Most likely going to end up being a reliever.
                                7. Vincent Koo. 20 year old RHP. 51 OVR 51 POT. Not even gonna sign this guy.

One of the best picks in the draft was St Louis taking 19 year old 1B Justin Colon. He is a great hitter. Could play in the majors now and hit .275 with 25+ HR.
