    Haven't read through the whole thread so these may have been said

    1 and the most important... A new commentary team. Commentary is stale and sounds boring. (Gary Thorne was great in 2K's game)

    2 retractable roofs

    3 New pitching mechanic. I use the meter but its the best of a bad bunch


    and I know you said 3 but a 4th would be to bring back the option to use generated pics for franchise. I hate seeing real pics alongside generated ones when they show up in the game.

      1) Option to turn Home Run camera off.

      2) The option to have the rosters and lineups stay the exact same after you simulate Spring Training.

      3) Option to have a 'clean screen'. By this, I mean no circles to indicate what player you're controlling and no R2 button showing, etc. I like to pretend I'm controlling a 'live' game.


      These are pretty minor nitpicks here. That's how awesome I think this game is. It really is near perfection in my opinion.

        I've wanted this for years and they said they couldn't do it because of memory (even after the PS4 jump). But yet, it works in diamond dynasty this year, so something tells me they could easily do this with RTTS and Franchise if they really wanted to.

          1. fielders have a chance to drop the ball when they collide with walls. the chance of dropping the ball would be based on fielding rating.

          2. player on player collisions

          3. pitchers not being able to grab a ball and throw a the batter out after the ball hits the pitcher

            1. More contract options like minor league contracts, non-roster invites to spring training, no trade clauses, ability to re-sign in season, etc.

            2. Have a defensive rating for each position for each player. This would help mightily for utility players that are good defensively at multiple positions.

            3. Editable managers and coaches.

              3. Toggle trades on or off in RTTS so that Clayton Kershaw does not get traded when we are winning the division (probably could patch this but you won't and you will announce it as a feature next year so people will buy the game!)

                1. Being able to include more than 3 players in one trade. This is crucial for us Franchise gamers

                  I can't comment on anything else, because I haven't played the game in a couple years, since SotS was first omitted on PS4. I've thought about getting the PS3 version, but the PS4 features that I'd be missing out on caused me to just pass, altogether.

                    My main thing that I have wanted for years is that you can invite players to Spring Training. (Non-roster invites.)

                    Another thing I want is what 2K does in basketball where you can set injuries on players before you start a franchise.

                    Editable option years (some guys option years are not accurate.)

                    And finally, I wouldn't mind an editable draft class.

                      1) Ability to edit hair and facial hair of SCEA players.....for instance, Mike Napoli is growing longer hair to go along with his epic beard this year. It would be nice to be able to change the hair length or add a beard to a guy who is bare faced in the game but starts growing facial hair in real life

                      2) Real Minor League Stadiums - at least for AAA

                        First, I would like some more interactions between the RTTS player and manager. It gets annoying knowing that no matter how a batter gets on base in the 7th or later (6th depending on how the game is going) is nearly an automatic move to the bullpen, even if the batter coming up has gone 0-3 or 0-4 and struck out multiple times. Perhaps adding a couple of options/interactions if the manager/coach comes out where you can say "I'm good to keep going," or "I'm spent," or one or two options based on the scenario. So, say a batter reaches via error and the manager comes out, you can opt to say "leave me in" and if the manager lets you stay, you can earn/lose confidence from the manager based on how you do in that situation. This can even go into interactions between games, such as feedback from previous games, asking for extra training time if you are struggling (like in a sub-.200 slump you can focus on hitting drills or you've committed more than your share of errors so you can focus more on fielding), voice your opinion of the team (this can be tied into personality so it can alter GMs' perceptions of you), etc.

                        I'd like to see a revamp of the ratings for players. For pitchers, break needs to be split up into two categories, break and movement. Some pitches break slower and earlier from some pitchers but still move as much as one that breaks later and sharper. Think curves from David Wells, Barry Zito, and Clayton Kershaw. All are known to have big moving curves but each one breaks at different intervals and rates. Velocity can be changed to a more range measurement instead of a 0-99 rating. For position players, ratings for fielding could be at each position. Can also break down the fielding ratings to moving left or right for infielders. Outfielders can have split fielding ratings for route to the ball and reading the ball off the bat.

                        Third, I'd like to see more options for creating players. This can come in the form of sliders to create different body types within each main body type. These sliders can start off at shoulders, upper/lower arms, torso, upper/lower legs and then maybe expand as needed in the future. Sliders can also be used in lengthening/shortening head hair and facial hair styles. Beard C can go from about a 2" length at the minimum to mid-chest at the longest. Just like for the head, shaggy can from mid-neck at the shortest to maybe mid-shoulder blades at the longest. Sliders can also work within setting hair/eye color. Expansion on clothing style options should go from just the sock/pant and hat style to jerseys and equipment. Can have shirts be baggy, snug, fully buttoned or 1/2 unbuttoned. Pretty much just expand on everything within the player creation fields.

                            PASSIVE- Rarely Takes Chances, Safe Routes
                            NUETRAL- Takes Some Chances, Normal Routes
                            AGGRESSIVE - Frequently Takes Chances, Aggressive Routes

                            PlayStyle #2 (glove & throws): Normal, Flashy
                            Normal - Some flashy plays/neutral fundamental-looking plays
                            FLASHY - Plays with more flare

                            2. Fielder Momentum
                            Affects Routes to ball making player agility, speed matter more
                            Forces Player to manage speed when tracking fly balls or grounders
                            Creates a visual skill difference for players increasing immersion, noticeable difference in fielders
                            Creates a skill gap for user controlled fielding
                            Add Strafe button to help with control, squaring up (there are issues on some fly balls that are frustrating)
                            Add a Hustle Button for covering long distances but makes agility, speed matter as momentum will make it difficult to change angles, paths, etc.

                            3. User Defined Fielding Cameras
                            Allow editing of zoom levels of current cameras
                            Allow editing of Infield cam position, outfield cam position, movements, etc (even if limited)

                            All of which in my opinion would create a new and better fielding experience.
