Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
If he is pitching decent, would a package of Rusney Castillo and Brian Johnson net me James Shields?
Castillo gets a fresh start in San Diego where he would get a ton of playing time either as a starter or the backup depending on other moves that are made. Johnson would get a real opportunity at a rotation spot as he is behind Owens on the chart right now, and probably eventually behind Espinoza and Kopech.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
That would be more then enough to grab him out of being the odd man out in New York. To think just 2 seasons ago he was a gold glover. Let me know what you trade for him as in my Mets chise I'm looking at dealing him so he can start again.NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Is there a deal to get Pence to Seattle out there? Same with JBJ? I also control Boston. Want to know what's a fair deal though. He's struggling with me in Boston. Looking to make over my Seattle outfield.
Thinking:
Boston receives:
SS, Everth Cabrera (.318/1 HR/4 RBI/2 SB)
SP, Ritchie Steadman (61/87 B potential)
Seattle receives:
LF, Jackie Bradley Jr (.208/ 1 HR/ 1 RBI)Last edited by kenp86; 05-22-2016, 08:05 PM.Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
In season 2 (2017) and my Twins are out of it already...yet again. (Trade deadline)
Looking to trade some veteran arms to teams making a push. Right now Ervin Santana is having about as good a year as he can. He's 13-6 in 153 IP with 110 K to 36 BB. His ERA sits at 3.06 and his WHIP is 1.12. He's 34 years old and on the books for 2+ seasons. In The Show he's an 81 OVR at this point.
Next up is SP Phil Hughes who is also having a solid season. He missed a few starts but sits at 4-5 with a 3.28 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. 80 K to 21 BB. He's only thrown 98.1 IP so far. He is 30 with 3+ years left on the books and is an 84 OVR.
Contenders who could use an arm:
Yankees - rotation hit hard by injuries. (Tanaka-Eovaldi-Mitchell-Kaprielian-Tracy) is the rotation. Severino is out a long time with injury but Pineda comes back soon. Their farm guys just aren't ready yet.
Astros - rotation is just thin right now. (Keuchel-McCullers-Fister-Fiers-Wojciechowski). McHugh comes back from injury in a couple weeks. Either Santana or Hughes could hold down #4 spot until McHugh gets back then go to #5.
Cubs - (Arrieta-Lester-Hendricks-Brooks-Lackey) They don't have injuries, they just have a 38 year old Lackey who has fallen off (4.28 ERA 1.40 WHIP) and Hendricks is struggling (5.22 ERA 1.47 WHIP). Either of my guys make it to #3-4 in this rotation. Lackey can probably take a walk as his ratings have regressed greatly.
Those are the best 3 fits I see. I'm not looking for a haul, just a piece or two to fill out my organization and have a shot to make an impact one day.
What would it take to get Baez from CHC? He's hitting .117 this season and is currently a 74 OVR. He has 2 HR in 137 AB's with 10 RBI. In 2016 he hit .338 in 68 AB's. He's in season 4 and has 494 AB's so far with a career .196 avg and only 15 HR's.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

That trade is pretty bad. JBJ is a former top first round pick. It would take a guy like Walker to get him.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm in year two with the Pirates and thinking of moving on from McCutchen (free agent after the year, 94 ovr, 30 years old).
The rangers are looking like the best destination as they are leading their division and lack a quality center fielder. My question is would it be fair to ask for either Gallo or Mazara (both are low 80s overall with A potential and neither is having a very good season thus far)?
Thanks for any input

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I would say JBJ and an okay prospect to Boston for something like Danny Hultzen or maybe just JBJ for Hultzenn straight up but I could be wrong. Just throwing an idea out there, Hultzen seems like a good change of scenery guyPSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

The thing is, Hultzen hasn't really performed poorly in Seattle's minors. He was actually doing well. He is just never going to be healthy. Any upside he had is basically gone.Comment
