In the only game I have played so far, they talked about one player in story format. They brought up Curtis Granderson's socks. Very nice to see them improve even slightly with feedback like that through commentary. Good job SCEA.

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
I was just playing and Karros was talking and it made that noise as if the sound went out. Then it reconnects and he's saying his lines as if nothing happened. It's definitely not my speakers and it also didn't seem like a bug. I think it was legitimately supposed to happen. It seemed exactly like a telecasts sound cutting out for a split second. I may be over thinking it but I thought it was kind of cool.NHL-Minnesota Wild

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
This is more than likely not new, but it is the first time I've seen this scene (granted, I don't throw behind guys very often - this one REALLY got away):

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Cool little thing....
I created a 1965 roster for '15...and am importing it for '16....
I did so with players that I simmed historical stats for.
Using the Mets...I had Warren Spahn on the mound(my created Spahn w/historical stats) and in the pre-game...they mentioned his 300+ wins and that he was a premier pitcher for a long time...and at 44 y.o. they will have to see if he still has some gas in his tank.
What's nice is....the commentary is stringing out it's lines more and more through in game info.
(since it wasn't an SCEA Warren Spahn that had these lines attached to him)
Hopefully...this continues!!

Just hit a Home Run with David Wright Matt says "As Mets fans have heard before that ones outta here " trying to mimic mets famous broadcast announcer Gary Cohan . This was cool !Comment

I love that they have new animations for pitchers after a strikeout. deGrom has his signature little move after he gets a K.Comment

Best little thing I've seen so far! Walk off "Gatorade" bath! Even though it looks kind of weird that the jersey doesn't look wet. But just having it is pretty cool!

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Was facing Scott Kazimir and he struck me out 17 times heading into the 8th inning and I lined a ball back which hit him in the hand. He went down in sort of a huddle position, kind of squirmed and didn't try to field the ball deflected off him. He ended up leaving the game with a hand injury. It was a pretty awesome thing to see.Comment

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Never going to happen. The devs recorded a whole bunch of bench emptying and angry emotion animations, but MLB said they didn't want that in the game. In the end the devs HAVE to follow the guidelines the MLB sets out in order to keep the license.Comment

Been in the game for a few years now but I love when Matt V. says, "hey, Chicago what do you say?" when you have a team down to their last strike.Comment
