Absolutely plan on waiting for OSFM before starting my "real" Yankee franchise.

Really excited considering the amount of prospects + young guys we have coming up!

Going to be taking a very similar route with the team as the thread creator is. I'm most curious about when the timing will be "right" to call up Clint Frazier and Gleyber Torres ...

Also 100% going after Manny Machado to play 3B once he's up for Free Agency.

Will be waiting for OSFM to start my Red Sox franchise, but will be doing tons of other fun ones in the meantime!

In my Red Sox franchise I will be playing every game including spring training. Position battles a plenty with Holt and Panda battling over 3B, and Panda will also be battling with with Moreland over 1B. Bullpen depth will be a battle, as well as the 5th spot in the rotation. I will be updating all year long in here! I am pumped!

Always play RTTS until OSFM comes out, once that happens, I dive straight into franchise. I always play a Royals franchise. The scenario this year should be an interesting one.

You've got one last year with the core guys in Moustakas, Hosmer, and Cain. The team is set up to contend pretty well for 2017. Once the offseason hits, it's time to make decisions. Realistically, best-case scenario means you sign one of the above three players. You can either tear the entire team up and get some young pieces, or you can work with the young players at the major league level such as Cheslor Cuthbert, Raul Mondesi, and Jorge Soler and build around them as they progress. Not to mention the young arms in Staumont and Strahm. A lot of different routes one can take in a Royals franchise this year.

Going with the bronx baby bombers of course. Playing RTTS until the OSFM roster come out as a closer. What ima do once the roster comes out is use the create a player option to clone my rtts guy. Once hes in the roster ima go ahead and trade chapman for starting pitching or top of the line prospects. Havent decided yet (Since ima player lock my closing rtts guy.) Im quick manage every game only play when my closer is needed. Try to play through at least 5 seasons.

God the Red Sox are so stacked this year + moving forward. Probably such a fun team to use in Franchise Mode.

I'll also probably start up a 30 team mode, outside of my Yankees one. Primarily going to be focusing on the Rockies, who tend to be my "alt team" in franchise modes. Just need to get that staff in line.

First time ever playing this game. Just got a PS4 on Christmas. Gonna play with my Phillies. I am sure it will be a struggle lol. Have to figure out the best way to play through a franchise. No way I can play all 162.

Do they track more than the last 3 years of league-wide player awards (RoY, Cy Young, MVP) in franchise?

Also in franchise, does a player's card/profile mention their award history such as being an All-Star, or receving a Gold Glove or Silver Slugger?

Im going to play RTTS until the OSFM rosters get released then start two very different franchise. One I will play to rebuild one of the bad teams and play as my Cubs, playing every 6th game, and then the other will be playing each game per day just like real life, and carrying over for a few seasons until I get bored with that.

I will start as usual with my Blue Jays. I plan to play 162 games the same as last year. I am struggling with my 1B/LF situation as I really hate playing with Smoak/Upton. I will look to sign a LF/1B FA like Pagan, Loney, De Aza to start and see how I manage. Could use a guy like Pagan in LF with Pearce at 1B or a guy like Loney for a contact 1B and use Pearce in LF. Not sure which direction I will go at this point until I get a look at the rosters/attributes. Think I might take a flier on another reliever to try out during spring training.

If competing I will likely trade for a very good 1B/LF improvement and go for it all. Depending on injuries I will likely do 1-2 more small deals. Can't wait for OSFM rosters to drop so I can get started!

Sign Pagan for LF, sign Loney and platoon him at 1B with Pearce.

In franchise mode, can you view past champions and league history information as you progress through seasons? Was not an option in MLB16. I had to keep a separate word file to track such things.
