No this doesn't happen to me...I can go switch back and forth between 4K,Enhanced and HFR and I have no problems when I go back to playing...this is why I am a little concerned I don't have something set up right...the only time I notice anything is when I turn HDR On/Off...I also have the ks8500 model

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I am also a bit of a graphics-whore and 4K was amazing...but after trying High Framerate Mode, I don't know if I can ever go back. The smoothness was so amazingly refreshing. It's like you don't realize how sluggish the game really is until you try High Framerate. Gonna give Enhanced Visuals a try though.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I hope they can come out with a patch to increase the frame rate of 4k mode though. I love 4k mode but it's just so choppy and sluggish, kind of a game breaker to me. So I am using enhanced visuals 4 now. 4k modes frame rate is worse than the frame rate of 16 by far.

After imputing your settings for game mode I was curious and went online to see what I should set up for when I am out of game mode, other HDMI input. Picture looks great and figured I would share this video to everyone that own a Samsung KS8000.

One thing though, don't have your options apply to ALL SOURCES or it'll overwrite your PS4 HDMI port settings!Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I have no problems on the KS8000 playing in 4K mode. I notice a little choppiness here and there, but in no way does it hinder the performance to a point where it's very noticeable. I've played on enhanced as well, and despite the gameplay being marginally smoother, the gap isn't as large as people say. As long as you are on game mode for the Samsung KS8000, I feel owners of this set should play the game at the highest graphical setting of 4K, at least don't dismiss it completely.

Once you try the other modes, the framerate of 4K is hideous, in my opinion.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
First things first..go to picture, then expert settings and make sure the UHD color is on for whatever port your PS4 is connected to.
Then next, settings > Picture > Special Viewing Mode: Game mode on
Backlight 20
Brightness 45
Contrast at 95
Sharpness at 0
Color at 50.
Tint 50
Smart led High
Black level auto
Resolution at auto
Dynamic contrast off.
Color tone warm 1
Gamma 0
Color space auto
PS4 - set all visual options to AUTO, do the test when done to verify everything 4K and HDR is working and supported as they should be.
P.S. you will see a setting in the picture menu called HDR+, ignore it and do not turn it on, it's a Samsung thing they came up with to try to make non-HDR content better. You will not be using this feature if you know what's good for you.
Color Space on Auto has this grayed out. Do these numbers need to change at all?
Also, why do the PS4 Video Output Settings need to be automatic for Resolution instead of 2160p - RGB?
Thanks.

I just input all these settings onto my KS8000. Do I need to do anything with 2 Point White Balance?
