By the way, this was not using QC settings.

I will be waiting for this to be fixed before I continue playing the game. I do have complete faith that the guys at Sony will take care of this in a timely manner...
I sure hope they fix it.

First of all, game is awesome!

I have a concern about CPU SP in my franchise. They are always getting pulled after 3-5 innings with a pitch count around 50, even if the game is close (example: Now playing against Astros, SP is pulled in the 3rd in a 2-1 ballgame allowing 3 hits!! It takes away from being realistic).

I tried to play with sliders by putting CPU Manager hook at its lowest and upped CPU SP stamina but nothing changes.

Am I the only one about that or is there something I forgot to manipulate?

            Thanks a lot!

I ben just playing exhibition games and been seeing SP get pulled around 5th or 6 inning in every game. Some of the game made sense, game was close and they used a PH, but when playing with DH, I still see SP coming out to early in the game.

I am wondering if because I have been playing all my games in April, if they are figuring that in as well, as SP dont normally go deep early in the season. My guess is thats not the case, but if so that would be a neat addition, but if they had done that, Im sure they would have mentioned that improvement.

I do think I will play a quick game in June or later to see if it does have a effect, my guess is it wont, and this is a glitch that needs fixed by them ASAP.

I've not started my Franchise yet as I'm waiting for the rosters, but this thread concerns me hugely. It's very long though, so is there a jist that someone can give me? The computer pulls starters far too early, but only if you are using quick counts? Or only if you're not using QC? What's the assessment? If this is seriously happening then it needs fixing ASAP

Why were you only able to draw 55 pitches on him in the 6th inning? I haven't seen any issues.

Because I was overly aggressive at the plate. That's besides the point.

I have seen it in non QC games and others have seen it in QC games. Which leads me to believe that it doesn't matter which of those two modes you are in. It will happen either way. Horrible bug.

Re: CPU SP problem (anyone else has it!?)

Interesting: the CPU just let a starter pitch into the 8th inning. First time I've seen this. The interesting part is that this game was in May, not April. I know in year's past, there was a Marty V audio clip about pitchers not pitching late in April, so... maybe that's the problem?

Oh the other hand, the pitcher was pitching a shutout with 3 hits and only like 80 pitches (I was terrible), so pulling him before the 8th would have been dumb anyways.

Lester was pulled in the 5th and only gave up a run, 102 pitches. So if anything, before we say that it needs to be fixed. How about just fine tuned?

Playing on Legend, Velazquez of the Phillies pitched 5 innings around 80 pitches. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. Bottom 5th, Phils have 1st and 3rd with 2 outs. Pitcher is due up. Computer pinch hits. The batter hits a 3 run homerun. Somewhat realistic. Can't blame the AI for pinch hitting in that situation. Will continue to monitor. But for those experiencing questionable starting pitching AI decisions, try legend difficulty.

He was pulled after letting two (I think it was two, might have been one) runners reach base in the 8th. That was by far the longest I've seen a pitcher go.

Ian Kennedy (85 stamina) going 7 deep with a pitch count in the 90's (and yellow energy). Still default sliders (except an experimental contact tweak for other reasons):

I'm playing the same game as you guys - I promise. And that's why I'm worried about a patch overcorrection.
