Have a great time and enjoy the game..... oh wait that's what I'm doing.
I think you may have stumbled onto the problem though. In the past in 16 and before I have found that if my starter threw 110 pitches or so, at the end of the game when they showed him as the player of the game it would say he threw 156 pitches. I think that had something to do with how they calculated the pictures so that the stamina would be correct as with the pitch count on quick accounts.

I wonder if it is as simple as them forgetting it to toggle this option

I don't think so, because I am seeing the same issues not using quick counts

        ???

        Am I missing something here?

Everyone is all pumped for the fantastic work done on the Rosters but.. this is a GAME BREAKING bug.

Am I missing something? No one has mentioned a fix and everyone is experiencing it.

Playing against the CPU is totally broken unless I'm missing something. No reason to even try a franchise, very upset.

the reason I am confused is because there seems to be no outrage

          this game is ruined.

I see a lot of early pitcher changes in those boxscores.
I'll drop back in to respond to just this:

You're mixing the issues together (probably not intentionally). Sim game logic (which is what I assume you're describing when mentioning boxscores) is not the same as in-game logic. Just like quick counts is not the same as full in-game logic.

They are different, and that means that what's wrong with one side is not necessarily wrong with the others. I do actually agree with there being a noticeable quick hook in sim, quick manage and quick count games, and I think that's what's causing RP's to see more innings than they should. That's something I would like to see patched/tuned.

But that has no bearing on my observations in full games. It's apples and oranges.

Really is amazing the bullpen logic this game has (not just this year), its so frustrating. This stuff wasn't an issue 17 years ago, now it is.

Except that some of us are experiencing this issue in full games as well.

I don't use quick counts. I play full games, and have yet to have a starter pitch into the 7th inning. And I am also experiencing the relievers being left in way too long (even with reliever stamina slider at 0)

I apologize as I have obviously not read all 40 pages of this thread. Is this a total non issue in games that don't use quick counts?

I just play normally. No quick counts or any of that bull****.

Playing QC, I'd die to have a pitcher there until the 6th inning . On QC, 3-4IP is the max I've experienced.

I don't understand how people can play this way.

I must be in bizzaro world over here, this issue makes play vs CPU impossible for me.

Why don't you actually play the game instead of posting multiple times that He game is broken. There is no issue with regular play. I've played a ton and have never seen an issue in close games or blowouts.

I understand its almost against the rules to bash the game on this message board, I apologize.

I've now gone back and seen that people have complained with this issue in regular play, so I'm not sure what to believe.

If you have the game my suggestion is to play and see for yourself.

This passive aggressive nonsense is also a good way to get banned. You are not having a civil discussion or opinion, you are trolling about a topic you have not experienced for yourself.
