18 news?

Has any one heard any thing about when we may start to get news about this years game? Today was December 6th and out side of who is on the cover I have not heard any thing about the game. In the past I think we normally get some news right around this time and more detail and bigger news like feb.

If I am not mistaken, they said in their last stream there wouldn’t be any news on 18 until the new year.

Didn't know they had a stream yet but if that is true we are getting news later then normal.

No news yet, but they are sure pushing for pre-orders. After the response from the community as a whole after the last 2 years, I'm not sure people are eager to pre-order, especially with no news on the game.

I actually prefer news to come later in the cycle and closer to release. Makes waiting for release day a little more bearable.

There will be a teaser trailer coming out Saturday at playstation experience

I get that. It's one of the many reason why I love year to year saves though. Now, if I'm hyped up for the next release, I can just play 17 and my playtime is actually worthwhile.

This. Year to year saves are a huge game changer. It’s also really why I’m playing The Show over 2K in December.

Year to year saves is still the greatest franchise feature introduced in this series.

Typically true, unfortunately. I remember so many games that had absolutely no news whatsoever until right before release, and they turned out to be duds. But then, it's only December, and the game comes out in March. I'd expect the same timeline as last year, with the developer streams broadcast weekly throughout February and March.

Year to year saves is still the greatest franchise feature introduced in this series.

Except you will lose a TON of players who SDS has taken out of the game when you finish a season and continue to the next year . They need to expand the FA list big time.
