A bit worrisome in not going to lie. This has not been a good indication in the case of other sports titles.

The game releases March 23rd. We have plenty of time for information

Plus there's a subset of the community who does know more specifically what they've done to change the hitting, even if they can't reveal it yet.

Agreed

I’m not one that buys into the idea that the timing of release of information corresponds to how much or how little “improvement” the game has received

A game could have 100 improvements and they release one improvement per day for 100 days or they could reveal all 100 improvements in one day.

At end of the day the game is going to be what it’s going to be

A game could have 100 improvements and they release one improvement per day for 100 days or they could reveal all 100 improvements in one day.

At end of the day the game is going to be what it’s going to be

You're exactly right the game is gonna be the game its gonna be and i promise you its not 100 improvements unless were talking about in there cash cow they call DD...The rest of the game is the same game every year !!!

And that's how I look at The Show (or any game, really) as a whole nowadays. You can't get too worked up over a video game. It is what it is.

I wasn't stating that the Show '18 was going to have 100 improvements this year. I was merely making a general statement to support my opinion.

I certainly hope that if they aren't going to add anything meaningful to franchise mode, that they at least tell us that up front and not string us along like last year. Surprise, you get nothing! Thanks for waiting!

I'm a bit out of the loop and can't find anything when I search for it, but did they give any details exactly what they're doing with servers to improve them?

I feel like it's something that is claimed every year, but this year's servers were easily the worst in the ~9 years that I've bought, since issues started creeping into single player games with games/stats constantly being lost due to being sent to the queue for processing (aka, the void), which killed all of my desire to do missions/conquest.

This....I only play franchise, I do not even log into the other modes. If there aren't some changes this year, then I can't say 100% that I will be getting the game. Which would be a first since 2009. Don't get me wrong, I love 17, but if there aren't improvements in 18, then there is really no need to buy it. I think rotating interleague schedules for this year is a must.

They re-did the infrastructure.

Probably around the time pitchers and catchers report. That's how it was last year when we started getting info on a regular basis with Blogs, Vlogs, Gamestop Mondays, and Twitch streams.

In past years when they released the feature list it was in February. The streams always start in Feb. I felt like we always had at least a little bit of info at this point though.

This year we have gotten no info at all to this point. It's not the end of the world, but I feel like its effecting buzz and excitement for the game.
