I am loving the new retirement logic!!

Hated seeing prospects retire early due to poor free agent market.

No sports game gets Trade logic completely correct, at least The Show has 30 Team control. I wish Fifa/PES could have something similar.

I like a lot of what I saw but there is nothing earth shattering or game-changing again this year. But still, they did address some long standing issues. I hope next year they give a little more attention to this mode as it is the only mode I play and I am starting to feel Franchise is not a priority for them.

Maybe next year we'll get a true Create-a-Stadium that will lead to expansion/relocation. Rain delays will hopefully lead to rain outs, rescheduled games and double headers. And please, finally add custom draft classes or at the very least some type of story to the kids we draft.

Also, we need A teams to be fully represented with 25 man rosters. I wouldn't mind them being playable as well but would be OK if they expanded the non-playable roster.

No I'm not. I just simply said "maybe." I didn't say "I expect" or anything like that. I'm only stating a desire. Setting myself up for disappointment would be saying "I fully expect to see this next year." After the last couple of years and the lack of attention to Franchise mode, I don't expect anything or than speed of play improvements and other minor tweaks.

Haven’t played this in a few years and I’m genuinely excited to get my copy this year!

Silly of me to pick it back up once my Tigers have hit rock bottom, but here we are.

This is part of the issue. Expectations. Create a stadium has been mentioned that if added, will be the ONLY thing we get because of the resources.

There is simply too much to fix for that to be the only thing changed next year.

Millineum did a wonderful job explaining this in his franchise stream last night. It’s not easy like 2K and Madden because baseball field dimensions are so much more important and each field is different.

If there is ONE thing that NEEDS to be 100% priority number 1, it is Interleague Schedule Rotation, I don’t see how it couldn’t be.

On Trade Logic,

Mills mentioned in his stream breakdown that the CPU utilizes the screen where it shows your teams MLB ranking per position as part of their trade logic. If that's the case then it appears they are making the CPU more human as we to utilize this type of information. Same goes for line up/rotation logic.

They look very sleek. Adopting a bit of the design Driveclub, and the sublime GT Sport uses. Very nice addition. I wonder if there is a 'dark mode' to them.
