Does anyone know if you can change how the camera view after you hit the ball? I like the way it was in mlb 17. This year I dont really know what type of hit it will be

So does anybody know if your potential can be raised or lowered? I haven't bought the game yet but I know you start out as a C going into the showcase just like last year, I've watched some videos and streams of RTTS this year and have yet to see it change in accordance with performance. I'm assuming since you are going to be a mid-round draft pick no matter what that you start as a C regardless but I'm hoping you can raise it since it would be kind of unrealistic to be a perennial All-Star later in your career with C potential.

Anyone else noticing that if you manually play the whole game with your rtts pitcher you only ever improve your primary pitch even if you are using the other pitches to get results. Whereas if you sim the game your other pitches also improve.

With my Closer I am seeing my Slider and Cutter control and break all go up depending on if I use them effectively or not so maybe a SP thing.

I am noticing almost not gains on my other pitches. Add in the questions with regards to getting new pitches and I think I am going to start a position player because it looks like SDS ****ed the pooch yet again.

my show player from 17 that plays for the marlins are playing this years schedule in 2022
not complaining, just happy to not be playing the al west again

Can't semm to find a work round for this. I don't like playing online, so this along with no season mode are game breakers for me. I put faith in SDS & got screwed. Hopefully they patch it soon. Back to NHL '18 for now.

I got the Louisville Slugger MLB Prime Birch AJ10 Diamond Bat (+8 PWR, +6 CON), applied it to my primary bat in equipment...

But when I look at my players attributes/OV, nothing changed in the CON/PWR, or his overall.

Am I doing something wrong? This is my first year playing The Show, by the way, so if this is a dumb question/easy fix, sorry..

SDS can we please make this mode so you are judged by how your stats are and how you're actually performing and not your OVR rating?

I made a SP and have a very good ERA and through 6 games right now I have 58 strikeouts. I've only had 1 HR hit against me. I am a 54 OVR and I got moved to Long Reliever over a 55 OVR SP when I MADE a Starting Pitcher in the RTTS creation along with my archetype. The coach didn't even tell me I was being moved to Reliever, it just happened.

Went two months without homering. Got crazy hot in June and finally hit my first. I got hot enough to reach .419, 1 HR, 34 RBI, 22 2B, 9 3B, and 38 runs in 58 games.

Then, I got told I was getting called up, straight from AA to the majors. In my first game for the Giants, I got a pinch-hit single. In my second, I hit a homer in my first at-bat! After my first series, I have five hits in the majors.

they broke it. I've done 3 RTTS's so far

all of them were a RF (like I always do) I play on beginner for RTTS and crank up the sliders so I can get to the bigs faster

I hit 43 homeruns in AA and didn't get called up to AAA
started the next season in AA after I got traded.

I'm going to sim the rest of this career just to see what happens. but this mode is completely broken, I'm not even sure they can fix it. wow.

wait until the youtube guys expose this madness, LOL.

I don't have that kind of time, I'm older than probably most of you lol.

again, the youtubers aren't about to spend that kind of time on this game either - a huge part of the fun in this game is getting called up at 18 or 19 years old in your first year.

seems like this year they want you to spend a little more time in the minor leagues. We'll see how that works out.

Its the same as last year. You see the + next to the attribute. So next to contact you would see in the bar, +6 and same with power.

Didn't happen for me. I went straight to MLB from AA after about 300 plate appearances.
