    A video snipet from my RTTS player 25th round for the AA Mobile Bay Bears an Anaheim Angels prospect. It's kinda long about 15 minutes just an FYI. ( Imported from 2017 to 2018 )

        I have played about two months of RTTS using my RF for the AA Mississippi Braves and it has been a lot of fun so far, I am really enjoying it.

        However I noticed a minor bug/glitch that pertains to pitchers pitch count.
        Specifically your teams pitchers pitch count.

        Game Mode:
        RTTS (RF)

        Occurance:
        Playing defense in the outfield.

        Description:
        The game is not keeping track of the pitchers pitch count correctly.
        Ex. I'm in the outfield, our pitchers pitch count shows 2 pitches, however the count is 2-2 and it's the second inning.

        Not really a big deal, just more of a nuisance.

          Has anyone lost any stats in RTTS yet? I was watching the official videos leading up to release and their stats went down when they had a bad game. So far, I only get gains. If I only do poorly in the game, nothing goes down. I'm only about two weeks into the season so I'm not sure if they give you a grace period or anything.

            The devs have said you can only be drafted, you can't pick teams

                Does anyone know if you turn off Fielding in the settings if my players fielding attributes will ever progress, or do I need actually play defense?

                  They will go up according to the developers. However, it will be at a slower pace than if you were playing.

                    Yes it will, though perhaps not as fast as if you actually play out the opportunities. It's like simming through them, basically.

                    You can see the progress on the post game screens where it shows your attribute gains/losses.

                      I had a contact vs R - for swinging and missing a pitch out of the zone in my first game. Just a small fraction of the progress though, and it was overshadowed by getting a base hit in the same game (which is worth around half of an attribute point at a 2B's starting contact level).

                        @forme95

                        I believe he want's to start the experience from the first pitch and not wait until his at bat or fielding turn is up! This was possible before in MLB 14,MLB 15 and MLB 16.

                        After 16 it was removed. My biggest gripe with the way it plays now is that if you are into winning games and you come up to bat or first fielding opportunity and you are down by 3 or more runs! In baseball run's are hard to come by. NBA 2k does something similar. I personally can't understand the logic behind it! Unless I am missing something!

                          Oh, I've had those. What I mean has anyone had a stat go down a point. Like fielding going from 50 to 49 by doing poorly. I'm wondering if they changed it, or if your starting stats are the minimum you'll be or anything like that.

                            @RoyceDa59,

                            Yes the option to disable Showtime is currently not working nor is there a option to turn off the Slow Mo or Matrix effect when playing on defense. Especially considering it happens on every contact foul or fair in the game!

                            Hoping the word spreads so they can fix it as stated in several videos/streams! Otherwise I hate to miss out on other nice features in MLB 18. I cant get my funds back either!

                              Yes. As a catcher, my throwing accuracy keeps waffling between 69 and 70 based on throwing out base stealers.

                                I think that when you are first starting out in the minors, they would be less of a penalty. When you get older it would be more of a penalty. I would think that you wouldn't get too badly hurt by swinging at a bad pitch or a weaker hit in double as opposed to the majors when you are older.

                                I just started playing and was drafted by the braves in the 22nd round I believe. Hitting. 450 after the first couple of weeks but that's because of the dynamic difficulty so once it gets to where it needs to be, it'll get harder. My biggest hope is that as an 18 year old, I'll be in the minors at least a season or hopefully 2 to develop though it's never been that way in the show
