If you want to level up the stealing and base running aggressive attribute quickly.... Use showtime on your steals. If you're opposed to doing that.... I get it.... but you can use it to get into a respectable range and then go away from it.

Beside the training between series, how do you upgrade Arm strength??? Is it even possible?

I'm a 18yrs old SS, in MLB since June of my first season so I didn't had time to train anything. In fact, I basically only increase Caps right now.

My Arm Strength is 65 (Cap is 93). I have Fielding/Reaction/Arm Accuracy around 77-81... There are plays I should make but my deficient arm strength prevents me to get the outs.

I havent seen an option to train Arm Strength between series-even for RF. It must be limited to certain positions. It's not possible to do it ingame that i know of.

I was able to increase arm strength at RF-you have to train power once and then next time you train power you can increase arm strength.

Is it possible to have manager ask you to move to another outfield position from starting outfield position? Both times its cf to 2b or rf to 1b-never one outfield position to another outfield position, even if i start with outfield as secondary position.

It is! I've been moved from CF to RF, LF to CF or RF plenty of time. It depends on your Archetype and team needs. Eg. A defensive Canon in RF will be moved to 1B or 3B more often. A CF BallHawk will be moved more often to SS or 2b or Lf.

Best way to be moved OF to OF is to pick the Archetype for the position you want to go. Eg. They will not keep a BallHawk at RF. Based on team need, they'll be more likely to send you 2B, SS or CF.

Other thing to consider is team needs. Eg. If you get picked by the RedSox in CF, they won't try you at another OF since Benentendi and Betts are great players. They may try you there but will be back your original position quickly! As was switched at 3B behind Turner once in LA... After 2 weeks I was back at 2B even if I was firing all cylinder during my try at 3B.

Been trying to do this since you posted the first one.... been close but haven't done it yet. You made me painfully aware of the possibility.

You can increase speed-by using a development boost on it by going back to school-increases it by 1. I don't expect successive years would let you get the 95 speed perk though. Not much of a boost though for forgoing 1 year in the minors.

Question for any OF's out there.... especially any RF's... I know Mbunn has a RF RTTS save going...is your player making any diving catches with the sliding animation vs. the head first animation? If so... what are your settings on? I have not seen one single sliding, feet first catch with my RF. I've made dozens of head first diving catches but none of the other. Thought maybe this was a settings issue.

No slide for me. I‘ve robbed some balls off the wall and made head-first diving catches with my Right Fielder. He also didn‘t catch his fair amount of easy fly balls

I've finally mastered most of the nuances of the position.... but the line drive missiles were the hits that I misjudged the most....would under or overrun them. Took me some time to figure out the range for a diving catch as well and tried many that ended up rolling all the way to the wall.

Play the same position for the Pirates. Was positive I would start at the beginning of my second season, but we signed Bryce Harper in the offseason [emoji854]

I hit my first RTTS grand slam last night. But it wasn't my AAA 2B player nor was it my AA SS player who did it. It was my Padres SP who accomplished the feat in a road game in Washington in the top of the 2nd inning. This Padres SP was created back in MLB 17 where I ensured his contact and power hitting attributes were at 35 before porting him over to MLB 18 where the max CAP for the Control Freak pitchers are at 35. Plus I do have gear which boosts his power up to about a 50. Nevertheless, I was just hoping to just put the ball in play as there was only one out in the inning and instead I barreled it up on a normal contact swing and knocked it out of the park. Not only was this my first RTTS grand slam but it was also this pitchers 1st career MLB home run (now playing in his 2nd year of his young MLB career) and he did go on to win the game, pitching 8 innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits in a 7-2 victory.

PS: this RTTS SP player has roots with being my first ever RTTS player, so I guess it was fitting that it was him and not one of my other RTTS players who hit my first RTTS gland slam.

                              Not having fun pitching.

Despite having good control ratings, it seems like my pitches are all over the place on Veteran pitching. I have a 75 control on my slider and, when pitching to Corey Seager, threw one down and off the edge of the plate. Yet somehow, the pitch was way too high and he crushed it, even with a ‘Just Early’ release.

Giving up on my Pitcher and RTTS as a whole. I’m just tired of the game in general.
