I can hear one of my high school coaches yelling, "FIRST STEP NO STEP!!!" That is a pretty nuance; a detail most would not even bother noticing.

It happens for some players every pitch of an at bat. Those are so knit pickey though.
I think the worst animation is that throw from the outfield to the plate that is right on line but handcuffs your catcher for whatever reason. It's the worst when the throw beats the runner by 10 steps, but because of the animation, the runner still scores

On a serious note, I noticed this too in my last game against the Blue Jays. They are 15 games under .500 and are 10+ games out of first in the East, but yet they had a crowd of 94% capacity for a Sunday afternoon game in July.
If it was Sunday July 1st, it’s Canada day and always full .

One thing that needs to be toned down is in the commentary

EVERY PLAYER that was not a first round pick, one of them says something like "it's great to see a player drafted as late as he was become such a valuable player and really grind out a nice career for himself"

I hear it at least twice a game

Someday SDS will realize that those kinds of specifics should really be scrapped from the game, or at least have enough stitching with "fill in the blank" aspects that aren't tied to just one specific line of commentary.

This isn't just an SDS issue, but theirs glare much more when other presentation/commentary aspects don't make up for it.

Does anyone think this years game is way too easy? Granted I'm playing with the yankees, but still. Im 90-27 in my franchise, i play every game on HOF default sliders but i just dominate. We lead in all offensive categories minus SBs, and lead in the all main pitching categories. Is it too easy this year?

Not for me. I'm currently .500 playing on default Legend across the board.

see, i want to move to legend but i dont like changing my difficulty mid season. Maybe because I'm the Yankees its a lot easier idk. Last year i did the same thing played every game on HOF and went 96-66, this year is just wayyyyy too easy.

Yeah I played on HOF for the longest time, but this year I decided to move to Legend and I've enjoyed it. Its not cheap nor do you feel as though you are at a disadvantage. You are forced to stay focused and utilize the information at your disposal (Batter/Pitcher Analysis)

                    I won't go back.

I went up to LEGEND got spanked a few times, moved down to HOF pitching and am enjoying it. Best rendition so far. Am I seeing less frequent show boating after a hit, or is it just me. The hit variety, both CPU and gamer is incredible. Seeing two bloop hits in a row down the line......priceless.

Dave Lawrence is a Cubs' fan.

                            That is all.

So I've never been a fan of baseball. It's slow. It seems boring. Just never really got into it. I live in Omaha though and the combination of:

                              - The College World Series going on down the street from me
                              - Some friends who have MLB The Show and recommended it
                              - The game being on sale for $40 on PSN last week

... I decided to buy it. I'm glad I did. This game is SO well made compared to the EA Sports franchises I play (Madden and NHL). Playing it has given me a new appreciation for baseball that I probably never would gotten from making myself sit down and watch games (and fall asleep doing so) on TV. I definitely have loads to learn as far as the game's strategy goes, having never played it growing up, but I'm really happy with my purchase.
