No wonder I’m not a MLB manager. All that time thinking and it never once crossed my mind to get rid of Hanley and bat Benintendi at 3. Suppose it goes to prove the happenings in the MLB can be just as strange as what goes on with the supposedly wonky engine in the game!

The game also is over after only 9 innings, what kind of garbage is that!?

I feel you on that one big time. I play as the Braves and will be playing the Red Sox at Fenway Park. Where the Green Monster will be in effect. It should be a big time adventure..

I’m starting my franchise soon. Haven’t spent much time messing with the game yet but I’m ecstatic that they finally put a search function into the roster/player vault. Although I miss the old list style of the vaults. Also have the free agency and contract renewal screens. Wish they still had the list view too

Srsly who do I have to boff around here to get an empty stadium? I’m 19-36, 16 games out of first, with virtually zero star power on the roster, nonetheless my weekend games remain absolutely packed.

In my personal commentary I often open games with “Tiger baseball, live from an inexplicably packed Comerica Park.”

Lost a home game 11-2 the other day, saw the place empty out in the 9th; I swear THAT’S how my games should look at first pitch.

And before anyone asks if I want some cheese with my whine, the reason I find it important is because the quality representation of dynamic attendance offers contrast that is otherwise lacking.

Case in point, if I were drawing almost no one, even on weekends, but then actually turned my season around and started to see bigger and bigger crowds, that would be amazing. As it stands I’m already drawing “first place” crowds even at 16 games back. Lame.

            Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I think you may be the first owner in history to be upset with high attendance numbers

On a serious note, I noticed this too in my last game against the Blue Jays. They are 15 games under .500 and are 10+ games out of first in the East, but yet they had a crowd of 94% capacity for a Sunday afternoon game in July.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Maybe the 94% have nothing else to do on a sunday afternoon!

There is that one stinking animation that has crept back into 18 that happens too frequently and it grinds my gears: When you're making a pitching change and the pitcher being pulled tosses the ball to the manager and walks past in a huff.

I think I am going to DFA the next sap that does that; that'll learn him

Agreed, that might need to be considered by the devs. That and the dropped glove.

That said, pitching on LEGEND for a new experience (classic). Really have to pay attention even more.

Playing off this again. I was really liking the Cub intro with the camera paralling the ivy colored wall at Wrigley (very nicely done), then the next scene was that awful shot of the devs doing their take on what disco must have been, contorting with arms that looked they came out of some Nintendo game.

One can only hope that this gets edited out of next years game.

I wish for full replays for some plays..I had a situation where I had an inside the park homerun (throwing error from the outfield) and the animation only replayed until the runner hit 3rd..

                          The commentary is jacked up.
D-Ro on Max Sherzer: "I wouldn't consider this guy a power pitcher..." HUH???

On Craig Kimbrel: "this guy had blown a lot of saves..." He has one blown save this season

Kinda like the movie Major league. No fans at the beginning and as you got better, bigger crowds.

Sorry for reaching up and dragging you down this rabbit hole. At least two of the worst have gone bye-bye: On the homerun trot, the hitter having to put his head on top his head, and the good-ol' sweat stain.

                              Okay, I'm done!

This is a thing of beauty. Watch as Harrison misreads the ball off the bat and takes a step in before realizing the ball is over his head.
