Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Bradley Jr. Is worth ~$64 million so he is quite valuable. I did the average of his past 3 seasons, and this kind of shocked me.
Holt is worth ~$9.5 million so even lower than Wright.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
A bit off topic, but does anyone have issues with the CPU not initiating trades on 30 team control (CPU controlling all but 1 team). They trade amongst themselves, but no initiated trades with the user team (trade block is setup).
Not that the CPU trade logic is sound, just wondering if this is a glitch with 30 team control.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I just started my Reds franchise today with roster update 1.5 being out. I haven't even played my first spring training game yet. I'm trying to make trades before I get going and I've having issues. No matter who I trade for, even if the number of players being traded are the same or not, and even if it benefits the computer WAY more then me it says "we're not interested in completing this deal at the moment". What exactly does this mean other than what it says? Is there something I'm noting doing, something else I need to do?I wouldn't ever set out to hurt anyone deliberately unless it was, you know, important -like a league game or something.

Maybe they don’t wanna make deals since it’s spring training, or since you haven’t played a game you haven’t “started” yet. Play a game and try again

I believe bard uses 8.5 million per WAR where I use 10 million. I use 10 million based on watching mlb network and listening to the “experts” talk about how much value there is per WAR and they use 10 so if it’s good enough for them that is what I use to factor my numbers but you would be correct in the range of prospects your talking about or even Jordan Sheffield who I think could have some high upside but has kind of failed lately as a prospect.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I would recommend doing 30 Team Control if you're not and turn on force trades.
Okay, I'm back to the drawing board on a deal for Odor. Neither of Cooper or Brito made OSFM so that trade is not going to work. Is there a pitcher, Dodger or not, with high upside that I could swap Odor for? Preferably a farm piece but I'm also okay with an MLB arm if it is younger.
The problem with Odor is he ranks 31th among second basemen in WAR since 2015.Last edited by Yankees247; 04-03-2018, 12:41 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I realized what I was doing. I picked up a few players from free agency and I'm trying to trade those guys. I know there is a time period where I can't trade away players I just signed, does anyone know how long this is before I can trade these guys?At least, I'm assuming this is the isueComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I’m more interested in Ferguson than Sheffield at this point. Would this need to be a straight up swap or is there an extra piece to be had? I’m not sure if there is a piece in OSFM of interest.Comment

I would say if you threw in a lotto ticket itd workComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Wright is worth almost exactly $10 million so two lotto tickets or if you dig a prospect in the top 125-150.
