Someone give me some ideas for pitchers with the Twins.

Was thinking possible Chris Archer or Rasiael Inglesias.

Samardzija could only get you another bad contract in return. Think a Chris Davis for Jeff Samardzija type deal. I saw a couple pages back that McCutchen and Longoria are only worth C-potential prospects.

There was a Crawford post as well but I don’t remember what was said.

Willing to trade Bumgarner? If so, there is your ticket to a Giants rebuild.

Looking to trade Michael Fulmer. The Braves aren't contending and Acuna is hurt in my franchise so I don't think the trade in the doc would work here. However the Rockies are contending at 3 games up on the Dodgers for first in the NL West. Would a package of SS Brendan Rodgers, 1B Ryan McMahon, and SP Peter Lambert work? About a week from the first season's deadline and would like to trade Fulmer at the height of his value. Currently has an ERA under 2.5 and a WHIP under 1 so far this season

That seems like a pretty low offer for Teheran. I know he isn't an ace but a RP and a couple C prospects isn't really compelling

We had him going for a Top 100 Prospect + another piece or two on our log. This is definitely too low.

I actually like this fit a lot. I'll have to do the math once I get out of court but I think you're in the ballpark. Rodgers is the headliner and an elite prospect

Just assisting with the math for you so you don't have to spend too much of your time.

                  Fulmer - 164M Surplus

                  Rodgers - 65.6M Surplus
                  McMahon - 37.6M Surplus

I can't help but wonder if Pint over Lambert is the more fitting pull here. He's there best pitching prospect and tops off the trade with three Top 100 prospects. Even then, we're talking about a surplus difference of 45M in Colorado's favor.

I did this trade in mine as well. Fulmer to Colorado for McMahon, Rodgers, Freeland (instead of Pint)
Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit Tigers
Pittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay Packers
                    Detroit Red Wings

What are your thoughts on Fulmer
for Rogers, Mcmahon, Welker Still difference of 40 million but gives Detroit 3 top 100 guys as Welker is now 97 on MLB top 100 as well as 3 everyday players for a pitcher.

Or is there any scenario Colorado gives up that plus Pint or Lambert as they still technically would get 25 million in surplus there way or is that just too much.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion

Anyone care to help me re-establish a trade for Drury? Sorry, I know we just got done beating this drum. That said, I'm in a new 'Chise with a more realistic Rangers record (.484) and I still really want this guy. I'm using the newest OSFM so Drury has taken not only a stat bump but he's been knocked down to AAA and replaced by Andujar. Does this diminish his value enough for me to avoid the pricey three-way deal I did before? That was:
TEX: Brandon Drury | NYY: Kyle Barraclough | MIA: DeLino DeShields Jr + Deolis Guerra

I'm fine doing the same deal if I have too but it's not really a great interest. I was wondering, would a deal like this work:

TEX: Brandon Drury | NYY: Mike Minor + Drew Robinson

Normally, I wouldn't suggest this but Minor is days off of an All-Star Appearance. He's 14-5 with a 2.09 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP at the All-Star Break. He's hands down pitching like one of the best pitchers in baseball and his OVR has shot up to an 82. His current stats outmatch anyone currently on the Yankees rotation. Drew Robinson gives them a super-utility guy to replace Drury. I don't know, thoughts on this? Personally, I feel like it works out situation-ally but yeah...

What would it take to get Swihart to Toronto. I am aware I would have to pay extra for division tax. The Red Sox aren’t using him and he could play OF/backup C for me. Just looking for an idea of the prospect (or MLB talent) that I would have to give.

I would be open to dealing prospects or from the major league roster is a fit makes sense for both teams.

Swihart is kind of hard to judge given the little/varying sample we've gotten from him. His WAR doesn't play well to our formula but I also don't think it is a fair representative of the player he is. Comfortably, I'd say he has around maybe 10M Surplus? Some might view that as overly generous others might think I'm severely under-valuing him. He's a hard player to gauge. If a superstar player like Machado gets 20M added, I'd say maybe 4M for Swihart for inner-division.

I wonder if Danny Jansen and TJ Zeuch don't meet the ticket for Boston.

I could possibly do Jansen and Zeuch. Might wait until a couple of weeks or so and determine if I want to acquire Swihart, Braun or both.

Now you could argue that Puig and Locastro aren’t the kind of return Baltimore would be interested in.

My goal is this (because I don’t like seeing unrealistic situations in my Franchise):

LAD Trades Puig - He doesn’t have a spot now that they signed Harper. Realistically this talent doesn’t just sit on a bench, never playing IRL.

LAD Acquires 2B - It’s their weak spot for sure and I doubt they trot out Locastro at 2B.

Easiest way to solve their 2B issue is to have them sign Kinsler out of Free Agency. But given they need to move Puig, I felt it made the most sense for them to move him in that deal.
The Orioles would explore like they did with Manny for a trade of Schoop but like with Manny they would need to be wowed to move him. They just don't make trades to make them because the guy may or may not resign with them. They would need to be overwhelmed with the deal to trade Schoop.

Plus, assuming the Orioles are rebuilding why would they take on Puig's contract?
