Looking at similar trades, a top 3-4 prospect seems high for Teheran. Jake Odorizzi this past offseason and Dan Straily and Drew Smyly the offseason prior are comparable deals, and none netted that high of a prospect

What about taking Heim out and adding Kaprielian (69 OVR/83 Pot./#9 prospect)? Thats #9, #21, and 73 ovr RP controlled through 2021 for 1.5 years of Teheran

I play franchise with the Toronto Blue Jays (played already 40 Season games) and it's really sad that some of my favorite players end up as free agents after the season...

so i wanna trade Josh Donaldson for Indians' Jose Ramirez (3B).

any thoughts for a "realistic" trade ?

Jose Ramirez is one of the best young players in the league, on arguably the most team friendly contract in the league, playing for a team trying to win. There is no realistic trade for him to be brutally honest

Sure there is. Just have to give the Indians Donaldson, Vlad Jr and Bichette to make it and even trade. I HIGHLY doubt you want to do that though. Maybe I am wrong and the Indians still would turn it down but at least you would have their attention. LOL

There is a possible trade. Not a realistic trade.

Thoughts on these? I might just pull the trigger on them soon as I think they're pretty fairly balanced and I'm ready to continue on in my Franchise.

                Yeah their fine.

Only thing I see being a problem is Yanks giving up Albreu in that deal

Profar and Drury are basically an equal trade

agreed. What would the Indians say though if that was brought to them?

Drury is more valuable than Profar.

Profar may have at maximum $15 million in surplus at this point. Drury is over $30 million I believe.

Indians better take that offer and run. Run quickly.

That is what I am saying though if the guy the is the "GM" of the Jays wants to overpay then I do not see why he couldnt, but like I said I doubt the guy is willing to make that offer to the Indians. He was probably hoping to trade donaldson and a mid level prospect for Ramirez

Does Drury's value remain even if he's been sitting down in AAA while Andujar mans 3B? Also, because I keep seeing people compare Drury and Profar, I feel I should note that Profar isn't going to the Yankees in my proposed trade. Rather he is being dealt to Miami. Here it was so nobody has to scroll back up.

MIA REC: Willie Calhoun | Joe Palumbo | Yanio Perez | Jurickson Profar
NYY REC: Kyle Barraclough | Tyler Kolek | Garrett Cooper | Drew Robinson
TEX REC: Albert Abreu | Chance Adams | Billy McKinney | Brandon Drury

Miami gets a super-utility player in Profar that they can immediately start at Short or Left Field. They get a Top 50 Prospect in Calhoun who can eventually play Left Field. They get a good arm in Palumbo and a potential every-day first baseman in Yanio Perez.

New York gets a very solid relief arm for their bullpen in Barraclough. Additionally they see the return of Garrett Cooper who can serve as a backup to the often injured Bird. Miami sends them Kolek to make up for the two arms they deal away and Texas sends them Robinson to give them a young utility guy to replace the role of the wasted Drury.

Texas gets two young righties from the NY system in Abreu and Adams. They bring back Texas native McKinney who has been lost in the shuffle in New York's crowded outfield. Finally, Texas gets Drury to serve as their super-utility replacement of Profar.

Garrett Cooper really gonna be getting those frequent flier miles between Miami and New York

I play as the Mets. 43-41 on July 4th. I want to add a SP and a bat. I'm looking at Adam Jones for CF and moving Bruce to 1B, and adding Bartolo back for the rotation.

What are realistic deals for both?

                                NYM REC: Adam Jones
                                BAL REC: Marcos Molina

                                NYM REC: Bartolo Colon
                                TEX REC: David Thompson

I think both of those are fair. Might be a little much for Bartolo if anything but I could see Texas being really interested in getting another young 3B prospect given Gallo seems likely to end up in Left Field.
