Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
My rangers franchise is ups and downs. Sometimes I think we can compete for a wildcard position. But then I play against Houston and see how far off we truly are. Delino is on the 60 day DL and I think we need a solid power hitting CF. And as far as LF goes Willie isn't ready yet and Joey just isn't what the Rangers thought he'd be. Any suggestions on what to do or who to target?

Pollock is another option if Arizona isn't competing at the deadline. Blackmon is an option if Colorado isn't competing. Kiermaier is the big fish and Tampa Bay would be open to selling I'm sure but that is where we get hung up on the lack of farm players in Texas. Any of those guys interest you?Last edited by MrSerendipity; 05-21-2018, 11:56 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I posted a couple weeks ago, but got no reply.I realize you guys are busy and i'd hate to ask an already answered question, but what would the value of Julio Urias be in terms of swapping for an established player? His value from my standpoint would be rough to gauge considering injuriesComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Texas fan here. We don't really have a lot to work from if we're being honest but we can take a look here. Low cost guy would be Grichuk. Not a huge power hitter but he can give you 20+ homers and he's not that expensive. We've already approved a trade for him so let me know if that interests you.

That comes out to $73.4 million in surplus. I would subtract $20 million with his injury since he is so young, and due back next season.
~$50 million in my opinion.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Ya I like Grichuk, and Kiermaier if the price is right

TEX REC: Randal Grichuk
TOR REC: Drew Robinson | Pedro Gonzalez | Michael Matuella
It's already been approved.
Kiermaier is going to be a very steep price to pay and I'm not truly sure if Texas can truly afford it. It does seem you were willing to move on from Gallo though? If so, I think this is fair:
TEX REC: Kevin Kiermaier
TAM REC: Joey Gallo | Leodys Taveras | Kyle Cody
Others might disagree with that though so you might wait for follow up. Kiermaier is a pretty pricey dude but I would struggle to give up much more than what I put together.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I like the trade for Grichuk. I don't want to get rid of Joey. He's a could player with a lot of power. Could easily be a DH/ utility player in the future

There are other affordable guys out there. Adam Jones in Baltimore can be had. Keon Broxton is another out of Milwaukee you could get. Either of those interest you?Comment
