My entire stance and without going back and reading, maybe I poorly explained, is simply for us to have a standard foundation to build trades off of. Just so the people who are helping have some form of unified approach and we can utilize the resources we’ve made available to people for learning purposes.

If I came off as “do things my way” I sincerely apologize. I am not the end all, be all of knowledge by any means. My wife can assure you of that. I was simply stating that it would be nice if we can remain relatively consistent in assessing and expressing value. Bard, Yankee and myself were constantly in each other’s DMs working on standardizing as much as possible so we weren’t confusing anyone.

Again, if I came across as possessive or anything, than I do apologize. It’s just hard for me to have spent as much of the time as I have working in this thread and in the log(far more than I’ve played the actual game) and then feel as if it’s being abandoned in favor of individual opinions.

I think there was some poor communication all around. Let's just ignore the last 2 pages and move on as a thread

For what it's worth you guys effort this year has drastically improved my ability to formulate trades.

Hell most of my trades now you either agree with or suggest minor alterations too. Has also allowed me to help plenty of other guys on and off this thread make some realistic trades.

What could I get (good landing spots too) for Gardner & Gregorius?

Both have down year and I won’t sign them once my season is done (maybe will sign Didi for 1 year)

I'd say Gardner's value isn't particularly high, especially if he's having a bad year. This is without doing any value calculations mind you.

I'd say a good mid tier C Prospect guy could be gotten for him. Where to is gonna be some what dependent on who's in and out of the race and what month you're in.

Didi is an interesting case tho, obviously he has been on a major upswing last couple seasons. But if he's not performing well for in your chise being on the last year of his deal and getting older not sure what is say his return could be without doing the math a little.

I will say off the top of my head, if they're still in it ARI seems like a good place to send him. Or possibly the Dodgers if you have Seager out for the year in your chise.

I'll do the math and post back, if someone doesn't/hasn't gotten to it before me.

Gardner has around 27M in surplus whereas Gregorius has around 40M.

Gregorius could be moved to any of these teams should they be competing:

Minnesota
Arizona
St Louis
Milwaukee

Arizona could have some interest given they’re familiar with Gregorius. I think that deal looks like this:

ARI: Gregorius
NYY: Pavin Smith | Jasrado Chisholm | Taylor Clarke

Gardner, I’m not sure. Personally, I think Minnesota is a good spot should they be competing.

MIN: Gardner
NYY: Stephen Gonsalves | Brent Rooker

7.13m with no option

Here's what I did.

2.7 WAR X 6 = 16.2
1.2 WAR X 3 = 3.6
0.9 WAR X1 = 0.9

=20.7 ÷ 10 = 2.07

2.07 X 9 X 1 = 18.63m

18.63m - 11.5m = 7.13m Value?

Looking to move Peraza and Duvall in my Reds franchise. We are 1 game out of first at the end of May.

Would like an older more defensive minded SS and a catcher to split time with Barnhart.

Early targets for SS include A. Escobar (KC 12 games out) or J. Iglesias (Det 14 games out).

Any ideas or packages that might work?
