I'd want Seth Lugo off the Mets for Swihart. If you cannot move MLB pieces, it becomes significantly harder, because I don't think the Mets prospects are good enough to justify making the move. Probably Peter Alonso. Anything less and it just doesn't make sense to do a deal.

Swihart is damn close to getting DFAed. The Red Sox aren't really in a position of strength here

Washington is interesting tho, ill have to check out how Wieters is doing. Thanks tho gonna use one of these 2.
Well after checking Wieters hasn't been doing good, but Montero has .318 8HR 23RBI .423OBP

So I'm gonna send Ramos Milwaukee way, but gonna keep Ramos in mind for a potential WAS FA pickup.

Jerry Blevins - NYM - FA after 2018
Kevin Siegrist - PIT - FA after 2019
Will Smith - SF - FA after 2018
Tony Watson - SF - FA after 2018

If I don't go with one of the Giants lefties, what would it also take to acquire Hunter Strickland? He's a free agent after 2020.

I'm only a few weeks into the season so stats are pointless, plus I probably won't be making a deal until at least June.

Chavis is the only real untouchable for me when it comes to the minors.

              If my calculations are correct

Diekman is 2.9 which means lotto ticket for him

Blevins is 4.2 which means lotto ticket for him

Watson has negative value by like 2 so a better lotto ticket your way plus him for a worse lotto ticket their way

Smith is tough didnt pitch in 2017 was so so in 2016 im assuming a lotto ticket works for him and

Ill let someone else handle Siegriest as he is arb player currently and either hurt or pitching in the minors this year

In real life Siegrist is on the suspended list because he refused to play in the minors, but in game, he hasn’t allowed a run through 12 innings in the majors.

I'm gonna need Siegrists contract in your chise to give you a value on him.

But as for the others, here's what I got for their value.

                  Diekman: 2.87m
                  Blevins: 4.16m
                  Smith: -0.88m
                  Watson: 1.95m

So obviously Smith is the cheapest option with his value only netting a simple lottery pick, although some might say he's worth more than that. But not according to the numbers apparently.

With these values I would suggest staying away from Blevins as at his age I think it's overpay. Bottom line tho is none of these guys are going to require anyone special to acquire.

If you want any of them i say just ship 2 lottery players that teams way and feel good about it.

Which means he's only worth a lottery pick as well then.

Siegrist is making $1.6M this year and is arbitration eligible next year. What about a return for Strickland? He has two arbitration years after this season.

Strickland may be way more than you wanna bite off, according to my math (and this is with guesstimating his 2 ARB years. Which I guessed at 3.0m and 4.5m) Seems he has a value of around 30m+.

So that's about two 75-100 prospects. Personally I wouldn't give that for Strickland, but that's up to you.

Couldn’t find an answer for this by searching the thread but is there a general surplus value we could use for A and B potential prospects in future years of Franchise?

I'm not big on establishing surplus for guys like Koda who have multiple years in the league but very little playing time. It kind of skews their value. I'd feel relatively comfortable saying you could give up Spencer Adams and AJ Puckett for him.

We don't really have anything established unfortunately, just because in reality the only true surplus values we have for prospects are for those Top 100 Prospects. I've been suggesting people keep a Franchise on the side that is loaded up with OSFM so when you do get those future guys, you can right down their OVR | POT | AGE and measurables (speed, fielding, hitting, power) to discern what real life prospect they match up with the most. That would at least make it easier to think about in terms of trading because you could use the real-life prospect comparison in this thread for better assistance.

Sorry, I know that is a bit more involved than what you were probably looking for but its the best that I can personally come up with right now.
