What would the value of Donaldson to Atlanta be? Could it land Toronto one of the Braves pitching prospects and maybe a wildcard like Wisler?

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
A solid reliever should be about right with the limitations previously mentioned for Swihart

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
A 50fv pitcher is worth roughly $14 million. Examples from the Blue Jays include Nate Pearson or a grouping of guys like Logan Warmouth or Reese McGuire plus Sean Reid-Foley

Jays get: Braun
Brewers get: Reid-Foley, Warmouth and Granderson (5 mil expiring contract)
It is the value you suggested, but added Granderson to give them a bench bat as I was just going to DFA him. His contract is expiring anyway, and helps soften the blow of Braun's contract before I have to pay him another few years
Thanks!Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
In my Padres franchise I'm looking to acquire Mike Moustakas from the Royals. I saw on the sheet that his surplus is 10M so who would I have to give up in order to trade for him?

I'm not going to redo the math so we will do the $10 million in surplus for Moose.
The bottom end of the top 100 prospects are still $15 million, so in this deal would be two lottery tickets. Which also means two C level prospects that are pretty far away from reaching the majors.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
This is from way back. Oakland is 5 games up for the first wildcard, and need an upgrade at 2nd. Is Mateo for Castro too much of a stretch? He's hitting .212 in AA in my franchise at the deadline, Castro is .297/.323/.409.2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Sorry bud, I must have missed the final part of your post. Alright Minnesota is out of it, we still have some options here.
Washington
This seems to make some sense right? He's a former National so a reunion is definitely in the picture barring they've already acquired a catcher. How is Wieters doing? If this seems like a good fit, I think a trade like this is solid enough to get the job done.
WAS REC: Wilson Ramos
TAM REC: Raudy Read | Jefry Rodriguez
Milwaukee
Is Milwaukee competing? If so, I think they would be good with upgrading their catching corps here.
MIL REC: Wilson Ramos
TAM REC: Jacob Nottingham | Trey Supak
Colorado
This team makes a lot of sense for me too as Colorado is a competitive team with a natural use for an upgrade at catcher.
COL REC: Wilson Ramos
TAM REC: Dom Nunez | Jesus Tinoco
Boston
Now I'm going to admit that I might be a little off my ship here. Anyone is welcome to reel me back in here. But this is just a bit of an idea. Swihart seems to be on the way out of Boston and I think Tampa sees there is some untapped potential there right. If Boston is seeking an upgrade at catcher in Ramos, they're paying a tax. So how about this?
BOS REC: Wilson Ramos | Sergio Romo
TAM REC: Blake Swihart | Travis Lakins
I like the Washington and Milwaukee trades tho. I already have Milwaukee making a push and picking up Cueto and Minor so this could be the capping piece.
Washington is interesting tho, ill have to check out how Wieters is doing. Thanks tho gonna use one of these 2.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
It’s July 16th in my Franchise and Darren O’Day is 1-0, with 24 saves, an 0.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 29 innings pitched. He also has a 1.0 WAR by the in game calculations.
Is a 75-100 top prospect too much or just right in return for him?
