Yep. The truth is somewhere in the middle. It can be frustrating no matter which "side" you're on and especially when you don't consider yourself on any "side" at all. No doubt there is a bunch of "user error" and "minuscule sample size" and "my settings/TV are different than yours" problems with many criticisms of the game and these can preclude any sort of apples to apples comparison.
It'll continue to be messy and people will continue to take offense to one another, but as long as we're obeying the almighty TOS and somewhat open to reason, that's as good as it's gonna get on the internet in this day and age, imo.
My only point in this entire discussion was to try to get people to see how their earned reputation in this community affects the point they are trying to make. Just like nobody is going to take Coca Cola's spokesmodel seriously about the virtues of the product, nobody is going to take PepsiCo's CEO's position on Coke seriously either. There is a matter of "consider the source" that we all probably do unconsciously when reading posts in here. I'd prefer that there were no "sides" either, but a lot of people seem predisposed toward one bent or the other.
