OK L2 lets you track the ball and L1 shifts the focus to the base coach. Hope this helps

Are you a closer by any chance?I'm starting to think that might be the reason.

As a centre fielder I'm really missing the ability to hit the right stick to see where the ball is going my jumps have been a little slow sometimes

              Unwanted position change...

Recently my manager asked me to start playing right field. I'm a catcher. I refused to do so and got benched. However, the game essentially made me accept the change even though at every opportunity I chose dialogue options that suggested that I didn't want to. So now I'm in right field... when does this change back to your primary position?

Assuming you've just started your career and are in the minors the position change is mandatory and usually lasts on average about a week or two and then you get switched back to your primary position.

Well here is the rub. I created a Small ball Short Stop and crushed the Bowmans games. So I came out at Round 15 (I believe the highest you go this year) as an A prospect. I was drafted by The Orioles on the first pick. After adding personalized gear and such I was a high 60's player. Which put me as a better Short Stop than anybody else on the Team. So I tore it up for the first 2 months and was a low 70 which made me the highest Short Stop on the team and Boom!! I am in The Show.

The problem I think folks are having with always being drafted by the O's is that they are EPICALLY bad. The highest position player is only a 78. So lord, a decent rated Top 50 prospect is almost the best player on the Team right out of the gate.

Edit: I am thinking of starting a new player, not adding high equipment bonuses and picking a better team with a deeper pool to slow my advancement.

I was drafted by the White Sox, 3rd pick of the 15th round. I'm a 65 overall right now and play catcher.

Currently at the All-Star Break I'm hitting .402, with 25 homer runs and 76 RBIs...

Yeah I play on default All Star across the board as well.

Dont forget that in RTTS as AA we are playing on Veteran, AAA is All Star and MLB is whatever is the next one up.

Can anyone PLEASE help me understand the new flyball fielding system in RTTS where there's no ball spot indicator and the camera is pointed on your player instead of the ball?? So i end up having to read the body language of my player instead of actually tracking the ball?

I've gotten a better feel for the system but most of the time it's still a complete guessing game and its soooo frustrating when I make repeated errors that are not my fault. As far as I can tell there's no way to toggle the ball spot indicator on and off. Is this something that becomes available once your fielding attribute is high enough or is this feature just completely gone in RTTS?

                              Any help is much appreciated!
