Hi.
I did look at the PS5 HDR tool but everything is good by default. Other games are just fine also.

When one game is good and the next version is darker yet nothing changed except the game, of course it’s the game

Yeah HDR implementation is still hit or miss in game dev, The Show has definitely been notorious for not being the most consistent with it.

Also, just had to say again, 21 might not be the upgrade some were wanting, but you won’t find a better playing sports game, period. 21 is so polished on the field. (No, don’t even mention 2K)

I wish I didn’t buy 21 for Xbox series x then PS5. $170 wasted. I hate losing Ty Cobb. Rogers Hornsby. Ball off bat sound sucks. Don’t care for the same stiff player models from forever ago. Chests and stomach etc all the same. Hands stiff. Ok graphics. Horrible RTTS. Nothing in franchise that I care for. Same mode since they took away money manage aspect with food prices etc. boring. I couldn’t care less about anything except Franchise. That’s all I care for. Game looks the same as 17, 18, 19 and 20 on the field except very minor improvements. I play auto everything except pitch and hit.

Ugh.

Why in the world did they take out the crack sound of the bat? That was one of the best things about 20. I haven’t got the game yet but I’ve seen many people talk about it.

I'm quite curious about this. I'm using pulse 3d headset. When I get perfect on a swing it sure sounds like a crack of the bat sound to me.

The 3D headset is a lot different then a home theater plus it’s right on your head. There’s bound to be a big difference in sound.

But I’d it good sound is another thing. Some have said it’s an ok headset but not great sound. The 3D stuff is the cool thing. Others think it has real good sound.

I’m curious to try it but don’t want to buy it then return it.

I have a home theater with Focal front stereo speakers and a great center and surround from Paradigm with an Anthem MRX720 receiver and M&K MX 350 sub. Amazing sound.

Can I ask this - how is the haptic feedback on the PS5/PS5 Controller? I have Ps5 and an Xbox Series X/ Game Pass, so I am contemplating cancelling my PS5 preorder and playing it on XboxSerX. I love haptic feedback and other controller tricks in some games, but it is not well used in most. Is it used well enough in the PS5 version to justify 75 dollars? Thanks and please - any info would be appreciated.

It’s weird, when I first got them and used them the first time the sound was low(I am partially deaf) but just sounded flat. I was ready to return them. But before I did I wanted to check all settings making sure all sound was maxed. It was. But then I got busy and didn’t get chance to return them and continued using them. After a few charges they they sounded a lot better, louder and amazing IMO. I don’t know what changed or why. All I know is I like the sound they are giving now.

Haptic feedback is not just a “gimmick”, it adds immersion and just something you have to feel.

I literally just hit a perfect perfect home run and you could just feel it was gone before even seeing the perfect perfect pop up. Just awesome.

Also using my headset with 3D audio, crack of the bat is very much there. Maybe the 3D audio implementation messed up something with the sound outside of the headset? I’m not sure cause I only use a headset.

Tip for those using 3D audio on the headset, make sure to go into PS5 settings and pick the 3D audio level for your ears. Default is right in the middle. I had to go 1 down for example.

Loll...maybe someone in the dev team. Chris Gill & Ramone Russell are still in the latest roster at AA level. Probably other devs as well but don’t know their names.

I really hope they somehow add the ability to sort in the stadium vault because I can't scroll through these offensive stadiums just to get to the good ones.

Dominant pitchers are super tough! I just had Sale strike me out 13 times on 112 pitches. I was just trying to make contact
