Always been auto field/manual throw. Trying out manual field/auto throw for a change….like it.



Strike outs…..I’m on AS (normal for me). Striking out far too many batters (I’m using my pitchers like it’s spring training). 13 Astros thru 7 in my game right now. Every game in double digits.

I too have been an auto field manual throwing player for years. I switched it to manual fielding for the tech test and am really enjoying it. I did however give up an inside the park homerun on what should have been a bloop single tho, I didn't enjoy that part. I'm really liking the new throwing meter

Maybe it's just me, but I love the bat sounds. They have that crack you hear at games in person.

Also there seems to be a variety of sounds depending on how the ball hits the bat.

I guess people hear it different ways, which is fine.

I think the actual sounds are fine just they don’t always match up (hard hit balls don’t always sound like solid contact)

When you start the game pause it and you can select team before starting.

Ok I think I need to stop worrying about the clutch..

Just played back to back option explorer games one as each team w/extra inning runner rule on

Game 1 as PHI - defeated HOU 2-1 in 14 innings.

Game 2 as HOU - lost to PHI 1-0 in 11 innings.

Both games had multiple RISP at-bats that resulted in outs.

Was playing against the Guardians in DD. Nice to see they have Steven Kwan's stance done pretty well, but the face is just horrendous. I guess it would have been tough to get a scan for him.

Doubt they will have one this year. Wish they could do better generic faces in this game

My favorite part about the Tech Test is the Catcher cam. It's so much easier for me to see pitches with that one. I've bounced around a lot of different cameras the last two years (mostly settling in Zoom and Strike Zone 3 last year), but this one is just straight on with the right amount of zoom. I've even been drawing walks online. It's just the most straight up camera there is.

I have read thru this thread and seen some guys asking some questions on how to turn this or that off. Pitching jumbled up etc fielding marker under player. If u haven’t figured it out please post your questions and I will assist you and walk u thru how to turn these things on or off.

A lot of things been reworded and moved around and some new things added so there is a couple things u can choose to your liking to see them on screen or have them off even some u can either have pitching displays on or batter attributes displayed.

Saw a nice new animation. Bottom 9, 2 outs, batter hits low line drive to RF, Castellanos charges, grabs it on the run then pounds his glove 3-4 times while on the run celebrating his catch.

That’s one thing The Show has been lacking, imo. Players showing emotion in big moments, even throughout the regular season would be super cool. We already see pitchers get hyped after a big K, but it’s the same animation every time, would be nice to see some new ones
