Loved everything I saw! Hopefully one of these years we’ll get custom draft classes.

It wasn't a jab, he literally said he felt the graphics were fine because he played a baseball game from 35 years ago, I was just reiterating what he said. His comment about people crying about snot not running down faces was way more of jab than anything I said, but for some reason you didn't have an issue with that.

That's all my comment was responding to. We all want things in this game and it would be nice if people didn't try to downplay the wants of others. It's not like I'm going around saying Franchise is fine how it is and doesn't need improving just because I personally don't have much interest in it.

Never going to happen unless they use generic player models and faces. They would need to pay to get likeness rights to every player if they use even a picture in the game.

Out Of The Park Baseball allows this but they don't use actual likenesses for historic players. Even in their Perfect Team card collecting mode any player who is retired has generic graphics on their cards instead of their picture.

Doyle Alexander for John Smoltz anyone?

It's a bit disappointing that only a select number of MLB stadiums will feature exterior shots. I'm hoping the majority will be in, but I did like hearing today that SDS will be building on their regional broadcast presentation they added last year.

In terms of commentary, would love to see them bring back an on-field personality to provide advanced storylines, stats, ect. I know a lot of people appreciated the concept of Heidi Whatney's commentary (even though the execution may have been lacking). I liked it especially because it added another layer to the game and broke up the monotony at times.

I do understand now that all the additions like the CBA stuff took a lot of time and resources. Even though they had to be in the game it still took the time. They didn’t really talk much about the in game news ticker. They said they updated it but then they showed the projections for players.

I think the scouting and draft things are going to be really fun and something more than immersive than before. I know we say this every year but maybe this new draft is a base for a future expansion of rosters and draft.

I am kind of surprised they didn’t have any just MTO additions unless I missed it.

I wish they would do a Q&A thing with tabarnes and see why they can’t have a tab for the minor league stats on the player card.

I am kind of surprised they didn’t do something like that. Even if they didn’t do a video like they did with Heidi. Even if it’s just a voice with an image of the person like they do with Boog and Singleton occasionally.

I'm really happy with what I saw. I always set scouting to auto, but based on the scouting system getting a much needed overhaul, I'll be taking full advantage of it.

I've read through all the comments here, and I'm just not understanding why so many are responding negatively

This is easily the most attention franchise has received in the last 3 or 4 years. I would have liked some updates to lineup logic and bullpen logic, and I hope maybe they did make updates but didn't highlight them.

Presentation looks great. Regional themes are a fantastic ad.

I was worried about MTO being used to phase out franchise for several years, but franchise got a lot of attention this year, which gives me hope. It almost feels like MTO has been used as a testing ground for things that made it into franchise this year.

This is the stream I look forward to every year the most, and I feel a lot better about it than I did last year

Been asking for this for a while now. It's on the radar, just not priority. It is the only one of the 4 major sports titles without one though, so I'm hopeful we will get this in the next few years.

Very well said and I agree. This may seem small, but if it works as intended it can change franchise for the better long term. It's progress.

A completely overhauled draft in franchise mode seems extremely promising. I will gladly accept that being the only major change in franchise mode if it means that every year moving forward the SDS crew focuses on one specific area of franchise mode to overhaul. IMO it's a realistic compromise.

Just getting to watch the stream now and early on I’ve noticed that Conforto is on the Giants. Hopefully other players that people are wanting will be in too.
