Like all the presentation stuff and was encouraged to know my name will make it back in eventually.

Objectively, it makes sense to me that this was such a focused stream, franchise-wise, as everything they did for the mode messes with standing logic in the game and probably needed a ton of time and focus. The draft and related scouting and signing components look well fleshed-out, so no complaints there. So, maybe that can bode well for other things next year.
PERSONALLY, I think my problem is in the bigger picture is that it's been years of subpar or, at least, more "under-the-hood" franchise attention (relative to the rest of the game) and even removal of some useful features, so I guess I don't really feel like MY "next year" is coming...lol.
I guess I was hoping that the popularity of DD and the spread to new consoles would mean more resources for all the "core" modes. It appears t's being used differently, which is all good, just not for me, I guess.
Presentation is much the same thing for me. I really do like what they are doing with the in-game graphical overlays, etc. But, IMO, what's lacking more is front-end presentation in franchise. MLB.com (or fictional "Show") hub, twitter, local sports blogs...something.
So, all that said, it was a good stream...MUCH better than the RTTS one IMO, but I honestly never thought I'd go three years into next gen and not feel truly compelled to buy the game. I'll be sticking with 20 and hoping that these foundational things and the gameplay changes I very much enjoy in the tech demo lead to something more in my wheelhouse next year.
I want to be clear though, I still have MUCH respect for this team and their overall quality of work. I'm just not their target consumer anymore, and I get that. What they've added looks good. See ya'll again next year!
