Met shave a really high team budget 281 million to start. I am still going to roll with them after first roster update and leave the team as is to start the season. Should be fun to not win much and rebuild with the kids

I think Alvarez and Baty did.

Mauricio’s is a scan, but it’s an old one so he looks like a kid. Need updates for him. Seems like some top young guys got them and others (like Mauricio, Jordan Walker, and Taj Bradley) did not.

One change that I am making is with Fujinami.

His stamina is only 35 in the game. This is incorrect without a doubt.

He started 7 games last year. Over in Japan he started 87 games. I checked his stats.

He should have stamina that should at least allow him to be a long reliever or a emergency starter.

I am thinking that it should be at least 60-70 maybe even higher.

They need to fix Jeff Mcneils hair in the game its been the same way for 3 years where it doesn’t flow or move at all. Looks like a bad mullet

I'm setting his stamina at 55. I'm just factoring in 2023, and not other years. In 7 starts he averaged 51 pitches a game and 2.5 innings per start.

EDIT - Doing that raised his Overall to 73.

I haven't started my franchise yet. I am going to wait a few days.

73 is about right for him because he throws absolute smoke.

Oakland misused him. I think I can at least get use him to eat some innings out of the bullpen early, when/if in a game things get sideways fast. The problem is he's overpaid. Which is less of an issue on the money Mets. He definitely won't be resigned by me in 2025 season tho.

He is going to be used by me because of his 100 mph fastball. THATS IT. The rest of his pitches are lackluster to say the least. I think he also has a 2 seamer or something that is also pure smoke.

In the game you gotta have relievers coming with the smoke. Especially righties! Lefty relievers can be breaking balls relievers and guys that throw average fastballs. That doesn't work with righties coming in the game. They had better be throwing 95+ and mixing pitches to try to throw off the timing of the batter.

I normally try and keep the roster close to real life in my franchise but I wanted to try and switch it up this year. My plan was to sign JD Martinez but I’m $3 million over budget as soon as I start my franchise so it won’t let me. Looks like I’ll have to add him outside of franchise and start a new one
