Tigers might be a nice partner. Some good young pitchers to choose from. I’ll have to check their roster to see who is closing for them.

Yeah I thought about that. I feel like the game gives even small market teams too much payroll space.

Maybe I’ll have to roll play it as use my own self imposed budget.

Surprise. Cohen doesn’t have as much money as we all thought he did.

oh know he does the MLB Mets are still second highest payroll this year at 289 million and with tax close to 400 million. Next year when Scherzer, Verlander and McCann come off its drops to 179 million so he will be all in on people like Soto, Beuhler, etc

Yeah, I think next years Mets are going to be this year’s Dodgers during the offseason. Buy, buy, buy.

He's still the richest owner in North American sports, but now he has dollars and sense. Hopefully the latter.

In years past it seemed like they gave every team about $10 million of budget room above their total payroll when you'd start your franchise but Cohen's wild spending in 22 and 23 seems to have broken that. Last year when I started I think I was about $70 million over budget on the first day of spring training

If the Mets have extra money in this years game I am damn sure going to use it to pick up a couple of starters.

Realistic pickups of course. Around 75-80 overall rating.

I think we are going to have a really bad season. Not sure if Sterns was the right guy for this city but that is a topic for a different venue.

Can you not use stubs anymore to buy franchise budget? I was always doing that in the older games to overpay like Steve Cohen would

I don't think you can do that now.

Mets current roster as of today.

                                Definitely needs some work.
