I could have sworn the Blue Jays have their TD patches on their arm in the game.

Yeah, that was supposed to say Seattle. I think I sometimes brainfart cross them up in my mind because they both came into existence in the same year. In any event roughly half the teams should have them. I wonder if LA will have there's patched in or is it worth it to Sony.

Absolutely. Game was looking spectacular and I increased my color higher and wow, really can see the difference.

And, if you’re playing on the PS4, no comparison with the PS5.

You should’t have to increase the color on your tv if the rest of the games look excellent right?

Personal preference. If someone wanted even more color "pop" than what is the default, more power to em. Not sure what you're going for here. Is he lying?

Hopefully this does not come down to comparing TV specs but there is a MAJOR difference.

Haha maybe but I’m just really curious in which areas you see MAJOR differences.

3 games under my belt.
-Gameplay as good as ever and batting feels even tighter.
-Derek Jeter Storyline done super well! Hope we get more player storylines this year!
-Lighting looks exactly the same to me, maybe even more bland…no idea what they changed but its definitely less vibrant. So where they went in the right direction with ‘23 they went backwards in 24 again [emoji2373]

-Font choice in some (crucial) places js a head-scratcher to me. Regional theme definitely better!

I’ve never been a fan of the circles (so hard to read the filled outer line) but now with this font And the white colour it’s like impossible to read. Who okay’d this?!

Wayyy better with the bars and the normal font en yellow colour

I never said anyone was lying, turn the colors up to a 1000 if you want but my point was if you have to do that to make the game pop how is the lighting then any better?

Features on the new tvs don’t help.

My OLED has an auto dimming feature that just slays me. Especially with MLBtS

My apologies if this has already been discussed, but the Astros schedule is way off in regards to start times. Almost every home game is a day game. I hope this gets fixed.

So mostly day games for the White Sox too. So that's the White Sox, Guardians, Diamondbacks, and Astros that have mostly day games that I've found so far. I have no idea how this has snuck back in again but my excitement for this game has went way down.

IIRC, weren't the Dodgers as well as the Giants affected by this issue?

It was the Dodgers, Padres, Giants, and Red Sox the last time. May have been more, I can't remember. I don't know if they are effected this time or not, I haven't seen any videos from those teams in franchise. I have serious doubts they'll fix it though, as they didn't last time.

Me too, I treat my franchise as it's own fantasy world, but I do like accurate start times. Start times have mostly been 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. There's a few 6pm's in there but not many. Hardly anything later than 6.

One impression is how easy the achievements/trophies are this year. You can get all of the achievements in a few hours haha. I really enjoyed last years list because it included a lot of modes in the game. This year, you can just get them in exhibition games.

For anyone on the fence on buying 24.. IMO save your money, I caved and purchased and wow I’m so underwhelmed. Extremely disappointed by the full package. Really not a major step forward from 23
